Staff is very friendly. The breakfast was quite bad. Eggs and Spanish omelet was made a day before and it was cold as it's taken out from a fridge. There is no parking possibility at the hotel. We had a nice view of Alhambra and it's very close to it.
We spent three days of our honeymoon here. Suite 304 was gorgeous with a view of the Alhambra. The double Jacuzzi bath was great and the bed comfortable. The continental breakfasts were varied very good. We had ordered the wedding package and we had rose petals over our bed,…
Possibly the best hotel space I have ever experienced. It is not for the glitz but the sense of history in this part of Spain (the "ancient area"), part for the layout of the Junior suite with full length shutter windows that open to tiny balconies overlooking the Alhambra. The…
We have the pleasure to spend a couple of days in this precious hotel. Everything was perfect, the room was gorgeous, with beautiful views and very confortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff could not help more, they helped us to book the tickets for the Alhambra and…
We had a junior suite which was spacious, very comfortable bed, view of the Alhambra Palace, tea making facilities, mini bar, free wi-fi and quiet. Shower temperature was poor, staff were friendly and restaurants and bars on your doorstep.
"305 has a balcony that looks out onto the Al-hambra and down to the Plaza Nueva"
"There are steps up to this room and you can hear people entering the hotel if they are noisy after a night out!"
"Room 305 with the four poster and Alhambra view is great and makes a nice romantic break."
"Our room was facing Alhambra, but you could not see much of it. It was above the little street below, but we were not disturbed ."
"Room 305 has charming views but be advised that Carrer del Darro whilst mostly pedestrianised is very busy and full of chatter. It is a very pretty outlook. If you intend visiting the Alhambra (and of course you do!) it is definitely best to get tickets I advance. Aim for an 8:30am slot and you'll have the best chance of missing the hordes in the Palacio Nazaries which can otherwise be very crowded. It is worth walking up to the Alhambra once, if only to confirm that the guidebooks are wise in recommending the very cheap and frequent C3 bus (just over 1 euro per journey) which leaves frequently from a square just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The climb is steep but pretty. "
