Next to the historic center of Malaga with its houndreds of nice restaurants and traditional tapas bars. also only a 10 min. walk away from the beaches. Very personal service and very good atmosphere. Highlight: The bar and the pool on top of the hotel....More
Great place to stay in central Malaga. The rooms are spacious. The staff is helpful. One of the best things about staying here is the rooftop pool. It's small but that doesn't make it less enjoyable.
The cheaper rooms don't have a balcony which is...More
Brilliant location, lovely staff, small pool. If you want a great base to explore city, port and beach then cannot recommend too highly. Has a roof pool but small and busy but hey ho, really cannot complain. Would definitely come back to both Malaga and...More
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Always a friendly welcome. Very clean and tidy lovely comfy beds. Service in bar excellent. We will stay here again. It is perfectly positioned to explore Malaga on foot no need for taxis .

Hotel just around the corner of the Cathedral, the Picasso museum, The Alcazar and the port. Be sure not to miss the bar and pool on the roof, as you will have the best view of the Cathedral, the city and the sea!

Any city hotel with a rooftop pool will have limited space so it's hardly surprising it gets busy now and again. We have been going to Molina Lario twice a year for 10 years and never had a problem. This hotel is for the more discerning patron for its near location to the culture and amazing restaurants that Malaga City provides. If people want to lie in the sun all day then I suggest a hotel down the coast towards plastic Spain with kids running around screaming and thousands of sun beds everywhere or take a 15 min walk to the beach over the road past the Port. Molina Lario has been and still is the friendliest and best hotel in Malaga City and gives us everything that we require and I would class us as sunbathers. Have never heard a bad word about Molina Lario, if it doesn't cater to you're specific requirements go somewhere else.
