This hotel is a gem. Ideally located in the middle of Malaga on the edge of the old town it's just five minutes walk to all the shops and a myriad of restaurants and about 15 minutes to the beach. On the roof there is...More

My 18 year old daughter and myself stayed here in a junior suit , 314, for 3 nights. Its a 15 min trip in a taxi from the airport, costing around 22 Euro. We arrived 2 hours early but were given key to our room...More
Next to the historic center of Malaga with its houndreds of nice restaurants and traditional tapas bars. also only a 10 min. walk away from the beaches. Very personal service and very good atmosphere. Highlight: The bar and the pool on top of the hotel....More
Great place to stay in central Malaga. The rooms are spacious. The staff is helpful. One of the best things about staying here is the rooftop pool. It's small but that doesn't make it less enjoyable.

Any city hotel with a rooftop pool will have limited space so it's hardly surprising it gets busy now and again. We have been going to Molina Lario twice a year for 10 years and never had a problem. This hotel is for the more discerning patron for its near location to the culture and amazing restaurants that Malaga City provides. If people want to lie in the sun all day then I suggest a hotel down the coast towards plastic Spain with kids running around screaming and thousands of sun beds everywhere or take a 15 min walk to the beach over the road past the Port. Molina Lario has been and still is the friendliest and best hotel in Malaga City and gives us everything that we require and I would class us as sunbathers. Have never heard a bad word about Molina Lario, if it doesn't cater to you're specific requirements go somewhere else.
