This hotel is very well situated by Malaga old town, which is very stylish with lots to see - including the excellent Picasso museum. Friendly and helpful staff and nice breakfast. Hotel is right beside a good little bar/restaurant. Only let down was the pool - shut in November despite over 20 degree temperatures - and not reopening till March....

We recently had a short city break in Malaga and the Itaca Malaga was the perfect choice of hotel. It is a small hotel right in the centre, a stone's throw from Constitution Square, yet very quiet and hidden away. The rooms were modern, clean and with big comfy beds. A free little mini bar in the room (water, coke...

The excellent location and friendly staff could not make up for the lower standards and grubbiness in other areas. We paid over the odds because of checking in on Good Friday. Our room was clean, being first floor we used the stairs which had a dirty marks which looked like blood stains on them on our arrival which were still...

Really good location if you want to be close to "everything". Staff helpful, standard of room average, clean but not new. The walls are paper thin, you could literally hear what the people in the next room was doing in the bathroom! Had a room at the back with no views, but the rooftop terrace is nice if you want...

Almost new hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is ok, although not central European standard, but good anyway. Quiet location, two minutes walk from the old town main street. Restaurant nearby and grocery store with in 2-3 minutes. Check restaurant Andino. 10min walk from train station.

This Hotel is in a great location for exploring Malaga. So many places of interest are within easy walking distance you do not need public transport. We spent three full days here visiting the Cathedral, Roman Theatre, Picasso Museum, Picasso's Birthplace, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Municipal Museum, Museum of Malaga....and more. Our room was spacious and while a little functional was...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Itaca in March. On arrival we were disappointed with our twin room (room 114), it was the only room on the ground floor and was squashed between the breakfast room and (I think) a boiler room. Lift and stair access to all other floors was right outside our door. At it was on...

Booked our stay in Malaga at a cheap hotel, but decided to spend the last night in style, so we paid double, about 100 EUR/night, for the Itaca Malaga and hoped for perfection. Instead, found a bit smaller room, nicely set, but that might need some renovations here and there. It has a safe and a minibar and the main...

A 10 minute walk from the train station, cost €1.80 from airport. Tickets from easy to use machine that takes notes. Nice warm welcome on check-in from staff who were very accommodating, anything we wanted was dealt with immediately. Nice clean room, very comfy beds, good towels. Breakfast was continental and had plenty of choices. Situated in old town in...

We stayed here for one week in March. Great location and friendly staff. We had a really nice room on the top floor just next to the terass with an fantastic view over the city. Walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see and only 15 minutes walk to the train and busstation. You could easily go on day...
