Some guests may have had quiet stays, but for us, 2 out of 4 nights were unbelievably noisy. We chose the La Francesa Suites based on their website description, "The Villa and rooms are surrounded by lush gardens in a peaceful and quiet environment." NOT SO. We intended to spend our afternoons and evenings at our room enjoying wine, cheese,...

Had a fantastic time here, Ana was a great hostess and was there for our every need. Rooms we're clean and had everything we could want for our stay. Grounds were beautiful to stroll around in the sunshine. Felt safe to stroll into town in the evenings.Shall be returning again.

While the place itself has no faults and is a great place to stay at, I found descriptions of rooms on Booking.com misleading. Knowing I would have to stay in the hotel for the whole day to complete some urgent work, I have deliberately chosen a more expensive room (Double Room with Terrace) as the description promissed "balcony, garden view,...

I would like to thank Alfonso for his warm welcome and willingness to assist us with our lost luggage and to overcome with a smile and a glass of wine the mistake with our room reservation. The house and garden are amaizing. Breakfast is tasty and one can choose between 5 different menus. We enjoyed very much our 3 days...

We stayed here for a couple of days in April 2014. This is a quiet and very peaceful place in a residential area of Malaga. Main sights of Malaga are 15 mins by car, seaside is 15 mins on foot. Motorway is 8 mins by car. We wanted something quiet to explore Malaga and surroundings, and this was perfect. We...

This charming little hotel is set in a quiet area and has on street parking available on a no through road. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful with their advice regarding the local area and how to get around if we did not want to use the car (which we did not during our three day stay). We had...

This is by far one of the better B and B's that we have stayed in. The rooms are very clean and very nicely done. The location is very nice and quiet. One can spend a lot of time in the property relaxing. we stayed there for 3 nights in June and were very warmly received by Ana. She seems...

We arrived at La Francesa Suites and were welcomed immediately by Ana with some Cava and olives. Off to a good start, we were amazed by the beautiful grounds of La Francesa and its lovely gardens. The room was everything we wanted, clean, modern and a great walk-in shower. Thanks to the kind help and suggestions of our host Ana,...

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room was quaint and clean. We had a terrace where we relaxed at night and ate breakfast each morning. The breakfast was really neat. There was a selection of five themed breakfasts to pick and choose from. We tried several--all very good. Fresh spreads for the breads and fresh juices, coffees and teas....

I stayed at La Francesa Suites on arrival in Spain after about 24 hours of travel. In the bustling city of Málaga, this was the perfect setting for restoration. Between the warm welcome from Ana (bearing wine and olives), the lovely setting on the hillside of El Palo (15 min bus ride east of Málaga) and the very tranquil and...

“La Mer and La Belle Époque are both lovely rooms with patios, but the latter is much more spacious. They are both on the side of the B&B next to the nursery next door, so if you are particularly sensitive to the sound of children, be aware of this. For us, it was not an issue. Other reviewers have also mentioned dogs at the B&B. We never heard or saw a dog during our entire 6-day stay.”
