The hotel Don Curro is situated close to the the end of the great shopping/walking street Marques de Larios, It is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. And to the other side the modern and exciting area at the Port of Malaga. The rooms in the hotel are spacious, with a fine bathroom...

The first impression of the room is the poor sound insulation. People's footsteps & Plumbing noise carries through the structure of the building. The main impression is, however, on moving about the hotel, one becomes concerned for Safety in the event of a Fire. There is one central staircase, open for its whole height, by which to escape. (Lifts do not...

Almost didn't stay here because of some poor reviews and that would have been a mistake. The best possible location a few steps to the cathedral, close to the port/beach area, great bars and restaurants all around. And as for the staff they didn't smile much but they were highly efficient with all our queries and couldn't have been more...

Although spain is a trouristic destination the people in the reception are not polite and friendly.. They even not smile or say 'hello' when they see a customer.. On the other hand the room was large enough and the breakfast was reasonable..

Stayed here with friends for a city break. Knew the location was good from previous reviews. Slightly concerned over poor reviews on the reception staff, but found them to be perfectly pleasant and polite. Arranged a taxi for us for return to airport and allowed us to store luggage after checkout. We had requested 3 rooms as close together as...

Just spent two days in Malaga in the Don Curro Hotel which is in a great location by the Cathedral and most attractions. We had a top floor room with a balcony and city views. It's very clean, I was a little concerned over other reviews about the staff but they did what was needed just not that interested or...

Not greeted in a friendly way on arrival just give us your passports no hello no smile. All quite impersonal. Breakfast not included which I thought bit mean after all not a cheap hotel so could have given us our breakfast without charging another 5 euros. Main 2 worries/issues were it was Really noisy you could hear people walking around,...

This hotel has a fantastic location right the heart of the old town, just minutes from the Cathedral. The hotel has a nice old world feel to it and the rooms are decorated to a decent standard. We took breakfast and it was good with plenty to choose from. Be warned the staff mostly can speak only Spanish.

The location of the Don Curro is perfect, in the old town and within easy reach of the Marina. The hotel is clean and the staff cleaning the rooms are very friendly. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the reception staff. We booked a double room and when we queried this they were less than helpful and pleasant, so...
