Though the hotel looked lovely and was very clean and furnished attractively, I was sorry to find out that half the rooms ( usually priced at 120 euros + taxes!!!) have no window at all, only a partly glassed door opening onto a patio which is itself closed. Even in the daytime there was not enough light in the room... More

We stayed at this three-star hotel for two nights in November 2004. It's perfectly situated in the middle of Cadiz' old town. As it is on a pedestrian-only street, don't attempt to drive there. We stayed, last March (2004) at a new hotel called Hospederia Las Cortes de Cadiz. It's on C/San Francisco. Which is a pedestrian only street, so if you take a cab, the driver will let you off a half block away. Which is no problem; it's a very short walk. “Our room (306) overlooked the street & with windows & shutters closed - very peaceful. It was a good size, with safe, mini bar, good shower room with bidet. Plentiful toiletries, good towels. All very clean & with good air con. Lift a bit slow but we were on holiday!”
