A bit of a trek from the station on foot but there are buses and taxis if you need them. The hostal itself is well-located right in the middle of the stunning old part of the city. Right by the beautiful Mezquita-Catedral. The hostal is very welcoming, our room was comfortable, well-furnished and spotlessly clean. The owner was always very...

I'm very sorry but I will not be able to be as positive as most of the other reviews. Whilst I understand the value of this hostel, I do not believe that this is the no.1 B&B/Inns in Cordoba. This hostel has one main feature: location. As other reviews point out, you are the other side of one of the...

We booked the Hostal Posada Los Alcázares‏ last minitue and although we had read other reviews we were astounded at the location - a five second walk to the walls of the Mezquita-Catedral ! Its a good 20 min walk from the railway station - although if you plan it right a fair part of that is very picturesque. The...

This absolutely gorgeous little Posada was literally 5m from the Mezquita and was the perfect place to stay in Cordoba. We didn't want to leave. The man at the front desk who was presumably the owner couldn't be more helpful despite the language barrier. The room was comfortable and beautifully done. The bathroom and especially the shower was the best...

An absolute gem of a place, right next to the Mezquita. Very pretty & authentic. Exceptionally clean hotel and very comfortable. Great value, free internet access and helpful staff.

This Posada, located right in front of the Mezquita walls is simply the best hotel I stayed in during my trip in Spain. The location is perfect even to come back during the siesta time, necessary during hot summer days!!! Rooms are clean and very comfortable. People are great and very helpfull. Even though they speak only spanish, we managed...

We arrived in Cordoba after a scenic and long drive from Madrid with stops in Toledo and Consuegra. The center of the city by the mezquita is blocked off to cars. To add to the confusion you need to realize that the cathedral and mezquita are the same building and sometimes directional signs would say one or the other. Also...

We stayed at Hostal Posada los Alcazares for one night with my husband and three of our children (ages 16, 14, 11). We had two rooms, a double and triple (additional bed brought in that crowded the room but worked well enough for the children). Our room was large with a private terrace, the bathroom was huge with a great...

I am on my second week of travel in Spain with my wife and two daughters. It is hot here 45C or 113 deg F. We arrived in Cordoba hot and tired and a little grouchy. But when arrived at the hotel everything changed. The location is great - right next to th cathedral and the roman bridge. We have...

This hotel is simply fantastic. I gave it 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. Location. There is no better location in Cordoba, period! 2. Cleaningness. Spotless. 3. Staff. Really nice and helpfull. 4. Rooms. Comphy, clean, large, tv, air conditioning, good shower, quiet and with internet wireless access. 5. Price. 50 Euro for a couple. 6. Hotel. It's a...
