I've stayed in Lineros twice in the last couple of years and I have to say it's an absolute gem. This time my wife and I booked in advance for a night on Palm Sunday during the first day of the Semana Santa processions. We were given the room on the upstairs balcony facing the street and were rewarded by...

Set in the heart of historic Córdoba this Hosteria exceeds all expectations. Lovely staff fabulous Moroccan style decor clean and comfortable. All this for only €39 per night. Would definitely stay again and give it top marks for anyone looking to enjoy Córdoba. We parked over the bridge for free on street then walked. Safe and saved on cost of...

Excellent stay at Hosteria Lineros. The decoration with its moroccan influence is beautiful, the location is spot on, right in the centre and close to the main attractions and restaurants but in a nice and quiet street. They have their own parking for 10€ a day but we managed to find a free parking site near El Arcangel shopping centre,...

Convenient location in old city for Cordoba sightseeing. Beautiful Andalusian style rooms and public areas. On ground floor ,sounds from inner patio public area, from adjacent room, and from sidewalk and road, are heard in room. Bathroom is separated from room by partial height wall. Beautiful clothes cabinet inconvenient to use: hangers arranged one after the other - not side...

Spent 2 nights at this hotel.....what a gem, very unusual in its decor typical of the region in bygone days. Spotless clean, very helpful staff and coffee and toast making facilities in the reception area. Wifi superb and always plenty of hot water. Perfect location, only 5 minutes stroll from the Mosque, would certainly recommend at the price we paid.

Stayed at this Hotel for two nights in July whilst visiting the city. It is a real gem with its Andalucía Moorish decoration. The rooms are set around a traditional Cordoba patio. Comfortable beds and excellent power shower. Good air conditioning and very friendly staff. The Wi-Fi works very well with good strength. If you drive there is secure parking...

Stayed at the Lineros years ago, and went back recently. Still a lovely hotel, centrally located - less than 10 minutes from the Mezquita. The hostal is beautifully decorated in a Moorish theme, the central patio is gorgeous, and the rooms are intimate and quite lovely. Our shower was humongous: could have washed the entire Córdoba CF football team at...

On arrival it was difficult to get to the hostal via car however a quick telephone call to reception and they came running down the main road of Córdoba to find us and drove us to the hostel. Once there it was nice and spacious, very moorish themed. Staff spoke Arabic and Spanish, some staff spoke little English although not...

Ideal for visiting sights on foot, located in the old town. Very moorish style, rooms a bit dark, secure parking, facilities for making hot drinks but no restaurant on site. Staff friendly and polite.

Having never stayed at a hostel before, I had minor reservations as to where to stay; Hosteria Lineros, however, was absolutely wonderful! The rooms are extremely clean and beautifully maintained with wonderful Arabic influenced architecture; our room actually included an en-suite that was also spacious, modern and clean. The hostel includes a 24 hour reception, too, which monitors the people...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The city of Cordoba is intrinsically tied to a rich Moorish culture. Those culture contributed to Cordoba's unique magnificence and peculiarity, as well a the ancient melting of Arab, Christian and Jewish cultures. Hostería Lineros 38, featuring pristine Mudejar style architecture, is the perfect place for you to experience and retrace the influence of these three cultures. The inn is truly an unparalleled architectural gem. Located in an old town house in the so called Axarquía, an ancient suburb, our inn lies in immediate vicinity of the legendary Mezquita Mosque and Cathedral which is just 300 meters or about 300 yards away from us. Without any doubt, Hostería Lineros 38 is one of the best opportunities to find accommodation throughout the city of Cordoba. There are only a few places that incorporate the vast Moorish way of life - our inn, paying attention to detail, is one of them. ... more   less
