This is a great hotel. We stayed two nights. Fantastic location, helpful staff with good service. Lovely room and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Great to have free tea and coffee. Really good selection for breakfast. We would absolutely recommend this place.

We spent the days around New Year here. First compliment, the People, all friendly and helpful! Full breakfast is good Price/Quality Ratio. Free parking as is available. The decor of the rooms is a bit "sombre", but probably fits the Weimar style. I don´t mean worn or old here, but just a tad "triste". Only thing I would renovate, is...

There are good things to say about this hotel: the location is great, close to the Altstadt. The private parking is free of charge, and so is the wifi (which was working just fine). The breakfast was really nice too. But when it comes to the room, there is more to wish for. Some people might think that the rooms have...

This hotel is a private run place with a lot of very positive features but also some drawbacks. 3.5 stars wouöld be the fairest rating. The overall ambience is very nice and good on the price-value dimension. The service was very friendly and very attentive and you positevely experience their credo to serve guests very well. The location just at...

This really is the most convenient place to stay in Weimar. Just a couple of steps away from all the major attractions. Nice atmosphere, very helpful and friednly staff, great buffet breakfast. The atmosphere is uniquely old fashioned, so that we truly enjoyed every aspect of it.

The Amalienhof is pretty, comfortable, and has both charm and character. It is very good value. It has a perfect location for visiting the main attractions in Weimar on foot. Once a 19th century noblewoman's house, the rooms and hallways are handsome and well proportioned, and ours had lovely Biedermeier furniture. The bathroom was small. Parking is free, the buffet...

We spent four nights here ... good geographical location, but noisy on the street. Staff kind and helpful, breakfast decent, but pretty much the same each day. Although we upgraded to the comfort room, we found it small, especially the shoebox bathroom which had no amenities, not even soap.

Went with my husband for one night. Staff was nice, rooms were clean and big with a flat screen tv. For 6.50€ extra each we enjoyed a long very yummy breakfast in buffet style. If ever in Weimar again we would book the same place. Parking was free too.

I stay in hotels a lot and always judge them on how comfortable the beds are and the quality of the wifi. To be honest neither are great in this hotel but it is still one of the better hotels I have stayed in, simply because of the friendliness of the staff and the attention to detail. It is a...

We stayed at this hotel one night during our trip, and had booked two rooms. The price was very good, we were very happy with our stay. The location of the hotel is great, next to Goethe's house and since Weimar is a small town it makes only sense to stay in the center. It is at walking distance of...
