Everything was just as other reviewers had promised - the staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive and the breakfast selection was outstanding. Those looking for style rather than functionality may be disappointed. But our room had everything that could be desired as well as the most amazing view of the salt warehouses and River Trave. The bathroom was a...

Pleasant hotel in a medieval building, immersed in the historical area of the city. Great view from the windows giving on the Holstentor. Very evocative and romantic atmosphere. Good service and very silent. Walking distance for almost every visiting place of the city.

I choose this hotel as I wanted to experience the old town charm & was willing to pay the price of staying across the canal & hotels. The location was good but noisy all night long & even with the windows shut we could hear the loud talking till the wee hours. Our room was on the 3rd floor &...

This was supposed to be the last hotel on our car trip around Germany, with a two-night stayover. Well, that did not happen. The hotel itself looks very nice on the outside. The public area with reception and breakfast area, was looking good. But when getting to our room for two adults and one kid at 10, we got a...

We really enjoyed the restaurant particularly the crab soup. Great seafood. Very helpful guy at hotel reception. Easy location for the old town. Bit of a walk from the station. Rooms clean and functional. It's fine.

As it was a holiday weekend we had difficulty in finding a hotel in Lubeck. We wanted to stay in the old town and the Jensen ticked that box. A clean hotel with friendly staff and a front room with a great view of the Holstentor. The room was small, which is typical in a 3 star hotel and the...

Hotel was nice and clean with a good location. One thing to know is that the parking (included) is locaded 200m away from the hotel. Good to know when travelling heavy or with kids. Parking in city centre is always a hassle. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked well, but a bit slow.

Jensen was our 2nd choice Lubeck hotel, the first was unavailable. It was nice, clean with good service and included a good breakfast. None of the old town Lubeck hotels appeared to be 5 star candidates and Jensen had nice reviews. Very easy 10 min walk to the train station and the whole of old town. The room was a...

We had a room at the front side of the hotel with a beautiful view on the Holstentor, one of the most famous buildings in the city. The hotel is situated in the center of the city; the most important buildings, tourist attractions and restaurants are in a short distance.
