We spent 2 nights at the klassik Altstadt hotel and we had no complaints at all. The Gunter Grass suite is absolutely awesome. They serve a very nice breakfast with lots of options and the staff is among the nicest and friendliest we have ever met. The location in the old citycenter is magic.

Usually I stay at the Jensen but this time there was no "room at the Inn" so on recommendation of a family friend we secured accommodation at the Klassik. The location was easy to find though parking is not provided and one must leave the car on a meter down at the Kai at the bottom of the street but... More

Great little old-style hotel. Our room was very large, and had verb beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom, on the other hand, looked recently renovated and was extraordinarily large (with a big bathtub right in the middle of it). Very well equipped. A truly comfortable and nice hotel. Also, very nice breakfast. The only drawback is that the main door closes... More

I stayed here one night before the conference on Destination Branding. It was a really new experience for me to have such small room, but comfy, with all I needed and very pleasant lady at the reception. Good short stay.

I stayed here three nights. Although part of a chain this hotel has the feel of a small family run hotel. Single room small, but comfortable. Located in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance of the main sights and restaurants. Staff helpful. Breakfasts good. Hotel is good value for money.

The hotel is nice and clean, just close to Lubeck centre. The single room was really really small and with a terrible smell of cigarette. The staff was nice and friendly. Considering the shared bathroom and the room very small I thing is a bit too expensive for what you get. If you travel with dogs they pay extra charge... More

As a single traveller stayed 4 nights, Room of modest size, but perfectly adequate, the bathroom (shower) being modern and well-maintained. No air-conditioning, which is not a negative, for the windows are capable of being fully opened, Staff were all helpful, willing, and efficient, Breakfast good, taken in an attractive room, the staff delivering pots of good coffee to the... I booked this hotel well in advance with booking.com as part of my backpacking tour of Northern Germany and was therefore eligible for the "1 Single Room with Shared Bathroom - Non Refundable" deal at €44.10. I usually prefer ensuite of course and although the room was rather small, it was spotlessly clean as was the much more spacious shared... More

The room was very small, but one night was ok. The receptionist was really nice and helped me out with every question I had. This hotel is very close to most touristical sites. It is in a quiet street (well, I stayed there from Friday to Saturday). Breakfast was good. I could walk from the hotel to the train central,... More

Very friendly hotel in a good location in Lubeck. Very quick walk to the restaurants etc. Excellent spread for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Decor in the rooms was a bit outdated but bathrooms very modern and clean. Excellent value for money.
