We stayed at this hotel for the first time for a week. The hotel is fairly central. Room (double and single) and the en-suite are clean and a good seize. The hotel is very quite, no noise from the streets or other guests. Breakfast buffet is plenty full and varied. Reception is manned until 23:00. Hair dryer can be obtained...

This is a nice old hotel in a good location, near the center and close to a nice marketplace. The room was small but clean, with a good bathroom and a shower. The internet was a little slow but that didn't matter this time. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful..

I decided to stay in this hotel as it was the only available during Kieler Woche. I must say the stay wasn't bad. The rooms are clean and there are no carpets (excellent!). WiFi is included in the rate and the internet speed is sufficient for working. Breakfast is definitely a highlight. A bonus is the parking space behind the hotel. I will gladly stay there again!

Good value, good price for what you get. Close to Alter Markt. Try the appartament (suite), you'll get a private sauna in the room and vey comfortable beds. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel has it's own parking and garage. Nice and helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay at Basic Hotel City. I was met by a very friendly staff, and the two nights I spent there were peaceful and pleasant. I loved the breakfast buffet, which was served in a very nice little room with a good atmosphere. The hotel is located very close to the city centre and the cute lake "Kleiner...

The Basic Hotel City is very close to the city centre, and although it is a bit run-down, and there's no elevator, I was very satisfied with my stay. The breakfast was more than ok, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted a cup of tea one night, and they happily provided a kettle, tea bags etc....
