Stayed here 1 night before taking the Color Line cruise to Oslo. Had a Family room With my wife and two kids. The kids slept on a sofabed. The room was large, a bit old and worn but clean. It had a balcony facing the backyard/parking area. However, there was no Furniture available on the balcony, we had to carry...

The hotel Wiking was, on the face of it, a decent place to sleep. Well-located in the city, decent facilities and spacious rooms. Unpretentious and with friendly-staff - everything you want in a hotel. However, all of this is trivial because it reeks of cigarette smoke. Don't waste your money on a bed: go to the nearest pub, drink a...

Our room was spacious, clean and it even had a balcony. Our room was at the back overlooking their car park which at night was very quite. Breakfast was excellent quality and ample choice. It's location is a gentle 15/20 minute from the train station,we would definitely stay here again.

Bad service at check in. We had been promised a safe parking space, but when we arrived we had to drive around town to find a parking spot ( they didn't care about my husbands disability). The hotel smelled like an old pub and it was badly sound proofed. The breakfast was okay.

Would rather sleep outside!😡🙁👎. Rooms smelled like old smoking rooms. Employees extremely little helpful. Night keeper could only speak German. The parking is very limited, and only for compact cars. Maybe the worst hotel l ever have been in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found and bocked this hotel online passing through Kiel. Simple but definitely good. Booked online without breakfast but could be arranged when we got there. This hotel has the best Wifi I have ever seen in a hotel. Wifi done right with good speed and no pesky registrations or advertising. And good coverage in our room at least. Rooms were...

It was nothing else than I expected from german hotel. Clean, decent everything in order. The only disadvantage was dirty balcony and lack of A/C. Proximity to IKEA and city center. Definitely I'll choose it once again if I go to Kiel. Breakfast is poor and not worth of the price.

This is ideal for one night stay. You get what you pay for and all is indeed adequate. No restaurant; no problem. No extra staff; no problem Bedroom furnishings basic; no problem Private off street parking; yes just what I needed. Basic breakfast; yes just what I wanted. No frills; no problem

We recently stayed here for an overnight stay in Kiel. It was a good hotel everything you need for just passing through. We just needed a place to stay the bed was comfy and there was a complementary bottle of water that was a nice touch. If you are looking for something amazing it is not for you but just...

“We had a room at the back of the hotel so street noise was not an issue for us. The hotel fronts onto a very busy 4 - 6 lane highway so noise from here could be a problem.”
