The two rooms we booked were very large and faced the back, so we didn't have any street noise or anything like that. The rooms were clean and functionally furnished, unfortunately mine smelled of stale smoke. Checking in at the machine (we arrived on a Sunday, when the reception is not manned and the garage is not open!) went smoothly, but typing the numbers into the number fields when opening the doors takes a bit of getting used to. The bakery, where you can sit and have breakfast, is right next to the hotel, so great! And in the street, or a few corners away, there are various restaurants, cafés and bars. Otherwise, at first glance you are a bit shocked by the area because of the amount of graffiti on the walls of the houses, but you soon realize that the area is absolutely fine and various cross and side streets are really nice.

Nice clean hotel, with new equipment at a reasonable price. CHECK-IN in the machine, it's a bit of fun, but it can be done quite efficiently. Near the hotel there is an edeka, a bakery and several pubs, at night you can park in front of the hotel for free, hotel parking costs 12 euros per day, I can recommend it

Check in at the machine, no reception. The location is good though and the rooms, especially those facing the courtyard, are quiet with a view of the large green courtyard. Tram stop in front of the building. The check-in procedure on the hotel website is only in German, impossible for non-native speakers. We had to help guests get into the hotel several times. The devices for entering the code are small and difficult to read. At the hotel entrance, the room number must be entered in addition to the code, and guests have also failed at this.

Positive: The bed was comfortable and clean. The towels were clean. The tram stops right outside the door, so you can leave your car in the underground car park.
Negative: In joyful anticipation of a few nice days, we paid online and checked in for the double business room we had booked in April as suggested by the system. After arriving, we unfortunately discovered that our room was not the room we had booked, which we already knew from a previous visit.
There is no staff on site, we were told by phone that there was no other room for us. Cancellation was no longer possible due to the online check-in. We are appalled by the condition of this room. It smells unpleasant and gives the impression that it has not been occupied for a long time. But the furnishings have nothing in common with the double business room we booked. There are no curtains, the blinds are dirty and the room has the charm of a train station hall due to its size and poor acoustics. The bathroom is like my father's in the rehabilitation clinic. It is dirty and the lighting is far too dim. There is no way to store the utensils needed for two people in the bathroom. The shower is closed with two shower curtains, which means that the bathroom gets wet even after careful showering. The TV was unusable because the batteries in the remote control had run out. As compensation for the horrible room, we were subsequently offered €10 for our next stay. Thank you very much for that, we will never set foot in this house again.

There is no receptionist you have to use your phone to contact a call centre. Room was not vacuumed, toilets dirty. We had our room changed, instead of a double bed it was to single beds, same as in the room we were supposed to be in. Do they know how to make “a l’italienne” bed ? Do not advertise “double bed” when it’s two single beds. Blaming the direction for cutting corners, not the staff.

There was no reception during the entire stay, it was closed. There was no one to contact if you had any questions. Everything had to be done at the machine, including checking in. Not possible for older ladies and gentlemen. When I asked questions or made requests (e.g. a child's bed), no one was there. My room was not cleaned during the entire stay and the bed was not made. They advertise a room starting at €29 which is never offered.
Absolutely disappointed and not recommended.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Very clean and modern. Spacious family room. Split into two rooms. It is classed as a low cost hotel so has no air con or kettle, though the rooms were very big and comfortable. Leipzig was a great place. We came to visit the area for my Sons 21st so we could go and watch RB Leipzig play football. Had an amazing time. Would most definitely return.

Nice and big Room. Not lot of Boxes for clothes. Service to pay is not fast and complicated with Money Cash. Reception was not. Clean and good Bet. The Local is in the Central of the City and Sith the Tram to the Hotel is uncomplicated and very fast.

We booked an overnight stay here for the weekend and were very satisfied. The rooms were equipped with the essentials and very clean. The hotel is located quite centrally on a main road, so that with the window open you could hear everything from the street. A parking space was available for 12 euros per day and there was the option of having breakfast at the bakery around the corner. To get to Leipzig Mitte, we had a tram stop right next to the hotel. The price was also OK.

Location at the western parts of the city. Problems with parking - the one suggested by the hotel is NOT available on Sunday! And parking on nearby streets does not seem to be a good idea. Room clean, bathroom looks like a 2* hotel. Bed mattress too soft ! Thee bakeries to have breakfast within 2 minutes walk. WE had some problems with getting into the hall (the screen where You should put Your details in order to get in was blinking) but was managed by a call to the customer service (yet had to wait some 6-7 minutes to resolve it). Cheap hotel - and that is what I like in this concept. But if You compare McDreams in Leipzig with the one in Munich You have TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS.
