location with only a few steps into the old town was good. Breakfast buffet was also good. Staff - some were friendly some not so.
First time booked a quiet room and got one not facing the street but nobody mentioned that there is a big construction side in the back and the loud elevator was right behind my bed wall. And the matress was awful saggy so I got a bad back ache and decided to sleep on the small sofa the second night.
Make sure you get a new really nice renovated room which I did the second time I stayed there, facing the street which was not so noisy at all.

Die angesprochene Baustelle im Hinterhof gehört nicht zum Hotelbetrieb - die Arbeiten dort werden jedoch nur zu betriebsüblichen Zeiten vorgenommen. In der Nacht besteht hier keine Lärmbelästigung. Gern reservieren wir Ihnen beim nächsten Aufenthalt ein Zimmer zu Bahnhofseite, wenn Sie dieses lieber mögen! Wir wünschen Ihnen eine schöne Weihnachtszeit - bleiben Sie gesund!

During the Leipziger Buchmesse (Book fair) I had to stay in the Best Western. It is ok. Rooms are small and the bathroom is even too small. Otherwise the location is great and it is a perfect place to explore the city even after an exhausting day at the Leipzi fair.

Very good location close to railway station, 15 minutes to the city downtown. Due to reconstruction parking is in a parking house about 200 m fron the hotel, but it’s fine. Very good weekend price incl. breakfast. I can only recommend.

Apart from its location close to the train station, not many good things can be said about this hotel. Its exterior wasn't typical of a Holiday Inn, as it was shabby and dated. Although it is called a "Garden Court", there was definately no garden. We had booked through the central reservation line but there was no record of our reservation. The receptionist was very reluctant to show us our rooms before we checked in. They were shoe box size with barely enough floor space to open our bags.
One positive aspect was its close location to the centre of town where there was an abundance of lovely buildings, shops and cafes.
Breakfast was very good but we were again disappointed when we went to pay our bill and found that the price originally quoted did not include the second person. We were then charged an additional 12 euros. I would definately stay in a different hotel if returning to this town.

An excellent hotel in Leipzig. Unpretentious, yet comfortable and friendly. Unbeatable location, directly across from the Hauptbahnhof and all trams. Above-average breakfast buffet. Air-conditioned rooms. Moderately priced.

The rooms were OK - basic, but sufficient for an overnight stay. Breakfast staff had no idea how to treat guests. Several of them watched us like hawks throughout breakfast (we were the only guests in the dining room, as it was early), and if we put a foot 'wrong' they were on us like a ton of bricks! I was told off for having dared to open the oven to get some hot croissants. We were very conscious of how recently this city and its people have emerged from a communist regime. Some old habits die hard. We will not be returning.

I couldn't imagine a better location if you use public transport. The hotel is literally across the street from the main train station, which is also a major tram station. To get to the historic centre and sites, you go under a long subway passage under the main ring road, and there you are! The room was comfortable and well equiped. We got a good price, though I believe this varies a lot depending on what trade-shows are on at any time.

Not a fancy hotel but a good place to stay when your doing the city. The suites are just two small rooms but have everything you need for a short break. For 66 euro per night (through the holliday inn site) including breakfast it's a good bargain.
