This is a good, well maintained and clean hotel with super friendly staff. The breakfast was good with a suitable quality and variety of food. It is well situated a short walk from the railway station so is ideal for anyone travelling by train.

This really is an excellent place to stay. The staff are very warm and welcoming and the rooms are extremely comfortable and well designed. I have paid much more money to stay in hotels that claim to be 4 star but are not nearly as good as this one. Premier Inn Opera is about 4-5 minutes walk from the railway station and the same to the shopping area so it's very convenient. Breakfast is good value for 12.50 Euro and everything is fresh and tasty. The hotel was very clean. The only downside is the noise from the trams outside. It's very nice to have a room overlooking the park but you get so much noise. May a room at the back would be quieter. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Modern, clean, well run, friendly service. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main train station and downtown. Rooms are well designed and have a stylish, low key interior. I really liked having a kettle to make tea or coffee in the room, rather than the standard single serve coffee makers you get in most American chain hotels. I also thought room service was quite efficient. The room was always cleaned, even when coming back relatively early in the afternoon. Breakfast was reasonably priced at €12.50 and pretty much standard choices, but it would have been nice to get some daily variations, because I was at the hotel for a week. If I could have thought of one single item that would have made my stay even more enjoyable, it would have been a mini fridge in the room. But nothing in life is perfect 😁. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, when in Leipzig.

Dear guest, we value your review and are thankful, especially for the notes on our friendly staff. The brand concept of Premier Inn does not provide a minibar in the room. Experience has shown that small article sizes combined with high operating costs result in high prices per piece. Therefore you'll find vending machines at the Premier Inn lobby, where our guests can buy drinks around the clock for reasonable prices. However, if you need to store your medicine in a cool location or are in need of cooling pads, please ask our team at the reception and the hotel bar. They will be happy to help and make sure to do everything you need for a great stay at Premier Inn. All the best, Christian (Hotel Manager)

I have just returned to England after a six night stay in Germany, based at this hotel. I wanted somewhere which was itself in an interesting city but which was also well situated for my day trips by train to other cities and towns in the region.
The Premier Inn in Leipzig perfectly matched my requirements! It is located on one flank of Leipzig’s Altstadt / old town, which is fascinating and atmospheric; just the best balance of a rich variety of distinctive building styles but definitely a ‘real’ place where people live, work and enjoy themselves. At the same time, the hotel also happens to be only a three minute walk from Leipzig’s railway station…..and Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, said to be the largest terminus station in Europe, is an attraction in its own right! As well as efficiently doing what it says on the tin, it also contains a wonderful two level shopping mall.
From the station I easily made my day trips to Dresden, Halle, Dessau and a small town called Schipkau.
But what about the hotel? It is excellent. All the staff I encountered, ….reception, housekeeping and catering were friendly, helpful and very accomplished. My room was spacious and well furnished and it was cleaned every day! The double headed, walk-in shower was splendid. The public areas of the hotel were impressive and a high quality buffet breakfast was well priced and set me up well for my days out.

This hotel is in a great location and in a great shape. The rooms are very big and the beds are comfy. The staff are pleasant to deal with and they offer early check in at 15 euros which is a very good value.
I would rate it 5 but I struggled to get any sleep. Our room was facing the tram line just outside the hotel and the noise kept me up almost all night. Because the air con was non existent and the room was hot the only way was to leave the window open for some air. I'd advise to request the room facing back of the hotel.

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you found our hotel in leipzig to be in a great location and that you appreciated the spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We also appreciate your kind words about our staff and the value offered for early check-in. However, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with noise from the tram line outside your room. We understand how disruptive this can be to a good night's sleep, especially when coupled with a warm room. Could you please tell us more about the issue with the air condition? Your suggestion to request a room facing the back of the hotel is noted, and we will do our best to accommodate such requests in the future. We value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more restful stay in the future. Best regards, Giuliano Graßmuck Assistant Hotel Manager

Can’t praise this hotel enough. Had my doubts about using Premier Inn in Germany but this experience turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.
Excellent location, great decor, comfortable bed & nicely decorated rooms with tea & coffee making facilities.
A special mention for the staff who were very helpful throughout & particularly when supplying plasters & ice for an injury I sustained after a fall.
Breakfast was also definitely worth paying for. Good choices & very quick service from the staff clearing the tables.
Will definitely stay here again.

After a less than satisfactory arrival in my room, things were quickly rectified. I’m a Hotel Manager in England so appreciate that things go wrong, it’s how the issues are dealt with though. Marcel on the front desk assisted brilliantly, my thanks so him. The room was very comfortable, modern decor, good view and great bathroom. Breakfast was definitely worth €16.90 with a brilliant selection of hot and cold foods (great coffee too!). Well located for the main train station and the Euro 24 Fanzone.

Great location across the street from Leipzig Main Station. Room was a good size with a comfy bed, great shower and somewhere to make a brew. Staff were really helpful especially Joy and breakfast was a decent mix of items with the all important English Brekkie Tea for the Brits on here. I've paid much more for a hotel than this one and had a much less comfortable experience. Will be staying here anytime I'm in Leipzig and giving other Premier Inns around Germany a go.

I used to stay in 50 to 60 hotels a year with work - mainly in the UK. I would avoid PermierInn / Travel Lodge. This trip was part of my retirement gift from my wife - a visit to Colditz Castle included.

How pleasantly surprised I was on arrival- clean , tidy , modern and a nice scent in the reception. Reception staff all friendly - all speaking good English (Note to self - Learn another language).

The room was at the rear, over looking the courtyard - you just hear the rumble of the trams. Massive zip bed and roomy shower. Only complaint would be the TV - only news channels is English.

Happy hour every day 1700 to 1900 - billy bonus. However the menu is lacking Burgers, Pizzas or Toasties. First night no Burgers - Last night only Pizza. Also on the last night the bar staff took 4 orders and said he’d bring the drinks- but it took ages. After 10 mins I went to bar to order food and three or four others in the queue got their drinks before we did. When I ask where my drinks were I was informed the pump was broken and offered alternates. If I had known there was limited food we would have left immediately to find something else.

Housekeeping - what a good scheme - donate to charity for not cleaning rooms. We still got clean towels and tea/coffee on request.

Will we return - you bet we will.

The hotel’s low price does not reflect the fantastic quality. Its a small, cosy hotel right in the centre of Leipzig. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and have everything one needs on a holiday, including fast wifi (even the free one) and rain-shower head. The stuff is simply amazing, it is clear they love what they do (at least this is the impression they gave us). Always smiling and willing to help. Good breakfast at a very reasonable cost and nice bar. The lobby area is so nice and cosy.
