Detailed Reviews
We booked for a family of 5 (3 of them kids). We got a family double room with 4 beds. For the little one not bed was there, but he had to sleep in the middle of a king size bed with the bigger ones. As all rooms were full, they could not offer an alternative room. At least we got an additional blanket and pillow.
The beds were clean, but the rest of the rooms were badly cleaned. The ground was sticky and we found coffee spots at the door. The bathroom was smelling badly.
We had booked a parking lot, but the entrance was only 1,90m tall, so our van could not pass it and we had to park on the street. At least canceling the lot was no problem.
The price was fair, but we will not stay there again, because of the bad rooms.

The hotel is not quite “Living the City” since it is 6,5 km south-west of the city center. It is in rather calm, popular suburb but seemed safe to park in the street. For the rate we had for the weekend, we did not expect much in term of quality but we did have a spacious room. The bathroom is fairly old fashion and the carpet doubtful. Wifi system did not work.

The rooms are very large and comfortable. The hotel attendants are very nice. Breakfast was not included, but we had it in the first morning and it was very tasty! There's a good supermarket just beside the hotel. The hotel is a little bit far from downtown, but there are bus and tram. We were with a rent car and we parked in front of the hotel, which is a very safe neighbourhood. I would like to stay in this hotel again.

For a short business stay for an undemanding client, the hotel is fine.
I am writing this review as a person who knows the hotel industry very well. I am deeply embarrassed and saddened by the standards of this facility. My partner found himself in a very unpleasant situation. Upon checking out, he left his jewelry on the table in the room. Hours after his departure, he contacted the hotel, receiving information that the jewelry had not been found. I am shocked by this situation. This is a violation of the professional ethics of the hotelier as I know it and a situation that should never have happened.
The hotel is a place where the guest should feel at home, and therefore an intimate and safe place. It is unacceptable that the client's private belongings are lost.
In view of the above, I strongly advise against staying in this place.

Dear Ewelina Magdalena, Thank you very much for your comment. We regret that your partner misses jewelry - However with us he has not forgotten him. All lost and found items are handed in to the housekeeper and recorded in a database and we strongly reject your claim that guests' private belongings are lost in our hotel. We hope that your partner will find the jewelry again and we are at your disposal for any further questions. With kind regards Your acora Leipzig Living the City team

Good service, excellent 2-rooms appartments with mini-kitchen, that is very convinient if one wants to save money on restaurants. 15-20 minutes to the center of the city by train.

Arrived late after being in town for a show to be greeted by some unfriendly, self entitled and passive aggressive night manager, who seemed to have a problem with English people. It left a sour taste.

I was very surprised at how nice/clean this hotel/apartment was,the living area & separt bedroom was big.The kitchen was funny once found hiding in a wardrobe in the hallway, but it did the job and helped that I could sort my own breakfast, there was no pots/pans etc but we always travel with our own so wasn't a problem for us.
The parking in the evening wasn't easy on the streets as it was packed, but we did always find somewhere, there is a car park for 9euros which would have been easier but I like to save money.
This hotel is a bit of a 15min drive to centre, but easy done and saves money staying out of centre, plus there was a shopping centre next to hotel with a kaufland, and about 10mins away was a bigger shopping centre.

I stayed in a 5 person, 2 bed apartment on our drive to Prague from Dunkirk, I slightly regret the distance of the drive but the hotel was overall great. The service was amazingly friendly and we were in our room within minutes. If you're worrying about leaving your car outside, don't - They have an underground car park for only 9 euro a night.
As for the room; it was perfect. The room we stayed in (no. 309) was huge, had a nice balcony area and comfy enough beds. They even left bags of Haribo for each of us! It wasn't noisy at all but a little bit on the haunted side, if you can handle that?
The services are above standard: the receptionist let me use the Internet café for free so I could look for a nearby takeaway. The told us about the area and spoke pretty good English.
There's just a few problems I have:
Firstly, there's spots around the hotel that smell rank! I honestly had to hold my breath at some points as it got that bad, especially in the underground car park. Something has definitely died inside the walls!
Secondly, the location of the hotel is pretty terrible; I suppose this is kind of my fault for not researching beforehand. The only thing in walking distance is a sketchy looking petrol station. The town centre is about 3 miles away so definitely driveable and taxis shouldn't be too much. I wouldn't advise walking.
Apart from the smell, the only thing keeping it from a 5* is the fact they want you out by 11am, this is nothing uncommon I suppose, but not to my liking.
Cannot review breakfast or food as we were in a hurry the next day. I do apologies for the state of the room, I forgot to take pictures when we arrived.

I called from Holland to ask if it was possible to check in after 12pm. This was no problem they said.
When we arrived at the Hotel the receptionist told us he had received a mail, that from 12pm the prices were twice as high as normal. We referred to our phone call, but that didn't matter.
We decided not to pay that much! Because the price only went up because of our phone call.
Why else are prices higher between 12pm and 7am??
I won't recommend this Hotel to others!

The hotel is 25 minutes from the central railway station (line 3, stop Grossschocher G.Elrodt str) or 18 euros by taxi. The rooms are very large and well appointed with a bathroom and small kitchenette. There is a TV but only German channels. The staff are friendly and helpful but not very forthcoming about things that tourists can see or do.
The pro's are the size of the room, the closeness of the tram stop (out the front door straight ahead for about 400m) and the late closing supermarket located right behind the hotel.
More information for the guests would be handy, such as telling guests that wireless internet is free but a code from the desk staff must be requested, and that the sauna costs 13 euros (I never bothered to ask whether that was per person or per hour or whatever. Why have a facility and then price it out of the convenient reach of your guests?).
The breakfast (7.80 euros) was very filling but if you're not a big eater and there for more than a few days, it's probably better to utilise the supermarket's convenience.
Oh, and the shower curtain is quite irritating as it keeps blocking the plughole (in my room, anyway) and seems poorly designed. The shower itself is powerful and the bathroom is clean.
