Detailed Reviews
We had a very pleasant time at the Leipzig Marriott hotel during our two days stay. At check-in the front desk manager Adrian Lüer was very supportive to allocate the most suitable room for our needs. During the evenings we visited the Executive Lounge, which was moved to "The Local" restaurant, were we got a fine three course menu and some good local German draft beers. At the lounge we were served very well by Silvio Bottler. Our room was very quiet due to the solid brick walls between the rooms and the double glazing. The bed was very comfy. The location is also very good.

Stayed three nights on a road trip to Germany. We chose the hotel based on our previous stay in 2018.
The location is great for walking with several restaurants and shopping just outside the door. The hotel offers parking, alas at EUR 22 per day, which I find expensive even in Leipzig. The parking garage is extremely narrow for modern cars, but during our stay several places were not in use, so no big issue this time.
Friendly staff at the front desk informed us of the current closure of the Executive lounge and reduced housekeeping, but we were okay with this for three days. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. It was equipped with safe and a/c, and we also got some coffee, when we asked for it. We experienced some hot days during our stay, and in general the temperature in the public areas was a bit on the low side for our taste, but no big issue.
The included breakfast was a reduced version. The hot choices were only omelettes and sausages, but several cold items were available, so it was still okay. Some guests did not follow the arrows around the buffet, but things were in general well managed.
The wi-fi was excellent and quite handy, as the airborne signal from our provider was extremely weak (obviously the hotel is not to blame for this).
We had another great stay in Leipzig and would definitely choose the hotel again.

In my business I see a lot of hotels, and I get to compare various properties within the same family. The Marriott in Leipzig deserves to be singled out for multiple reasons. First, the hotel makes it a point to recognize I'm coming and to treat me like they're happy to see me when I arrive. The location in the city center is one of the most picturesque I've seen, with multiple things to see and do within walking distance. One of the most spectacular train stations in Europe is right across the street! There are multiple restaurants and street venders scattered around the city center area, but if you don't want to leave the building the breakfast this hotel puts on is the best of any place I go.

Nice stay, as always. This hotel is a mix of old and modern. Right downtown and close to most things. Short walk to the zoo and to the train station. Easy to hop on a hop on hop off bus within a 5 minute walk.
There is a mall right across from the hotel with an Edeka.
The mini-fridge in the rooms are small, but you can put a few items in there if you need to.
The breakfast buffet was worth it. Omelet station, bacon, eggs, cereals, yogurts, breads, fresh fruit etc.
Parking is not included and the garage is SUPER tight. We managed to park with a mid-sized SUV bit a smaller cr would've been much easier. We even saw vans, no idea how they managed to fit, but they did. It costs 18€ for a one night's stay.
We had 2 rooms but sadly didn't get adjoining rooms. Our kids sad their water kettle and the cups were dirty in their room. Everything else seemed clean, but that was definitely a disappointment. We just told them to not use them.
To get up to your rooms, you have to use your room key to activate the elevator. I wish someone would've warned us 😆

The Marriott in Leipzig is a very nice centrally located upscale hotel. Parking is conveniently located under the hotel. Staff were welcoming, competent and helpful. We chose a corner studio for a two day stay mixing business with pleasure. The suite was exceptionally clean with what appeared to be recently purchased furniture. The furnishings included a writing desk and chair, a small sofa with coffee table, two large sitting chairs, a chest of drawers with a TV on top and a round table with three chairs. Our kingsize bed was very comfortable with no back issues in the morning. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean with a sink, a tub and an in-tub shower with great water pressure. I should point out that some people may have a problem getting in and out of the tub. The distance from the floor to the top of the tub was higher than some tubs. We ate breakfast at the hotel in the Creme BRÜHLé restaurant. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated and provided a delicious buffet with a large variety of breakfast foods. I recommend this hotel and will stay there on our next trip to Leipzig.

Nice hotel and sentral location
Parking and pool service for guest.
Room was ok, but last time i was there i was upgraded to a excecutive room , im still a gold member, but didnt get any upgrade this time , even if is says so in the Bonvoi terms. There where available rooms at the time of check in, strange :/
Not as serviceminded staff at this hotel as I have experienced earlier.
The most disepointed experience was the hotel restaurant, something wrong with my food and I returned it, After asking for the bill two times and have to wait almost twenty minutes for it they where still charging me for this food I returned, and when we tried to contact the head waiter he was more interesting to be on the phone than be available for his guest, we got this striated out with the reception next morning, but this is what destroyed our experience with this hotel, hope to see a more serviceminded staff next time.
I didnt even get my ponts , over 72 hours after check out, had to contact Marriott member service directly.
Please give your guest more attention and recognition.

Dear Peder, First of all, we would like to thank you very much for taking the time to fill out one of our guest questionnaires. It is only with guests like you that we are able to improve our service to ensure Marriott's standards at all times. I am very sorry that we could not meet your expectations and that you were not as satisfied with our house as we would like our guests to be. I have passed on your comments from the staff at reception and in the bar to the relevant departments. Guest service should always be our top priority and I can assure you that this was an isolated case. Unfortunately we cannot undo your experience and we hope to welcome you again to ensure you have a great stay. Thank you once again for the time and effort you have put into your letter and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Leipzig Marriott Hotel in the future. Kind regards Rebecca Gruner Reservation Executive

Dinner at the Hotel Restaurant with a Porsche Club Group was a disaster. In the first place there was not enough food in the buffet, what there was was bad and also there was no staff to serve. We paid for both dinners in advance for 24 people. Dinners on 4 and 5/7. Dinner on Monday the 4th was so bad that on Tuesday the 5th the group preferred to have dinner at a restaurant outside the hotel despite having paid for dinner at the hotel. I never come back to this hotel.

This is an old hotel in center of Leipzig, very classy. Big plus is very nice staff and pool area. I also enjoyed breakfast (not sure why breakfast was called out few times in previous reviews as bad - it has fresh bakery, juices, also veggies, eggs. I agree with bad coffee, but I wouldn't shame whole breakfast because of one cup of coffee). Bar downstairs is also very nice, has good beverages. Marriott didn't disappoint (again).

Has been several years since last visit. Pretty decent, ...fitness room available 24 hours, - adequate with free weights, treadmills and a couple of cycles. Weight machine available as well. Pool, though was only open till 9pm. Water dispenser could do with more accessible paper cups.

This was a very nice hotel with an excellent staff Linda checked us in and was very helpful! We had breakfast, dinner and evening beer and wine at the hotel. Denise our server went out of her way to make us feel welcome and special! When we needed help Adrian at the front desk was extremely helpful! The hotel is located just off the Martin Luther Ring at the tip of the Alte Stadt (Old city) and almost directly across from the Hauptbahnhof (main train station). the Alte Stadt is very walkable.

Hello,
We have stayed in this hotel in April this year. There was no construction happening then and I doubt you would have any problems at all.
It is a short walk from the main train station, shopping centre directly across the road we had a suite which was magnificent. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.
The train station has many shops and well set out.hope this helps and enjoy.
