Even if you return late from your sightseeing tour, our 24-hour self-service H2 Hub restaurant offers tasty snacks around the clock, as well as a hearty breakfast in the morning. The H2 Hotel Leipzig is located beside Central Station, right in the city centre. From here you can catch regional trains, trams and buses to take you to various sights and events. It’s just a short walk from the train station. The shortest way, head to Hyperion then past it on the right and you will see H2. Check in was fast. There are elevators. The room was modern and clean if a little dormitory like. At first we weren’t sure about the bunk beds. But it makes sense for housing 3-4 people in a room. It relieves precious floor space so the room seem bigger for all our luggage. Each bed has a panel with reading light and a net for some personal stuff. Those sleeping below be careful though not to hit your head against the upper beds as they are just forehead height so you don’t see it until you hit it. Still it was a nice arrangement if one or more of your party don’t mind sleeping in the top bunk. What we like most is the wc and shower being separate. With 3 of us someone is almost always using the toilet or the bathroom. The toilet even has its own sink. So we had a comfortable stay. However there was no kettle, coffee and tea. No fridge. Breakfast was varied and good.

Our family of 4 adults stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in the middle of July. The hotel room has two bunk beds, which worked well for us, but might be a problem for some families. The room was big and had a central air conditioning, which - after some adjustments - worked for us. The cleaning prior to our arrival was good. The bathroom and the water flow were excellent. It would be great to be able to connect your own USB-memory to watch some of our own movies on TV together, but this was not possible. Our major disappointment was with the breakfast. We found the choice of foods rather limited and some of them uneatable. In our view, a larger choice of fresh fruits, berries, and pastries would help. The parking lot was next to the hotel in a separate building (bus station parking) and there were always plenty of places. The daily price is reasonable, when taking into account the central location, and the hotel provides an additional small discount. The hotel is located in the city center, which is good to reach restaurants and downtown attractions.

Hmm, as you arrive in Leipzig and start to close in on the hotel by car I would greatly recommend that you keep your eyes very open. Reason for that? They have done anything possible to hide the hotel as much as possible. Even as you are standing right outside the entrance after having parked your car in a garage where there is no information whatsoever, it is difficult to see. Maybe I am getting older and that is why? In my defence I saw several people outside looking for the entrance and they were half my age… Room is nice, breakfast okey but to be handed a small flimsy plastic tray is not the best start of a breakfast…

New, fresh and modern hotel in walking distance to everything in Leipzig, shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Fantastic value for money with great breakfast included! The room was quite big with good soundproofing and a large bathroom - all in a modern design. Large parking house next door where you even get a discount as a guest. Very nice and quick welcome and check-in procedure as well.

We chose a family room with 4 bunk beds and really enjoyed the concept and features in the room. It was comfortable and new and the kids had a good time. The breakfast was fine - not a huge selection, but tasty enough. Location also good and ample car parking next door

We booked a surprise room. And, a surprise it was, though not the kind you wish for. We as a married couple at around 60 years were directed to a very narrow room with 2 bunk beds. No chairs, no table , no options for making coffee hence say no minibar or refrigerator. If you want to watch TV , you would have to stand up or look through the ladder to the upper bed. On the positive side is that you can not get a heat stroke. Even if the a/c is set at 24 C, I guess the room is around 20 with a constant chill wind blowing from the ventilation which can not be shut of. Outside at the entrance to the hotel, nobody cares about who the guest access the Hotel. No snow has been removed, nothing to secure the outside stairs with e.g removing snow or even throwing some gravel or salt. All in all we were so surprised that we will never stay here again!

What a great experience. It was literally next to the train station so it was very convenient to everything. The central local transportation was right there as well so you could travel throughout the city never being more than 15 minutes away from the hotel.
The hotel was newer and clean. Nothing fancy but comfortable rooms, beds, wifi was very good. The AC could have blown colder but it seems every German hotel keeps the AC limited.
Breakfast was outstanding with meats, fresh bread, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juices and much more. The area was bustling but constantly refilled and kept clean by a great crew.
We are returning as a family in December.

Booked online while travelling to the h2 Hotel from Czech will in advance, took my back details got a confirmation of booking when we got there was told no rooms available for us and that there was no confirmation of us booking even though I showed it. And then he said are computer are down know so I can not check. So we had to go to Premier Inn across the road. Which they was more then happy to help us out

Hotel is beside the train station, very convenient with shops and restaurants within the station. Check-in process was slow even though I have completed my online check-in 1 day in advance using the link provided, staff had some difficult time locating my booking. Other than that, the experience is flawless with comfortable room, strong shower, good wifi and decent breakfast for a budget hotel. Overall this is a very value for money stay.
