Expecting to check in late and head off early, the price was very attractive, but having it just kept getting better and better.
The tram connection into the city is excellent, parking either out front, or in the courtyard is ample and the rooms we had were very generously sized, with big beds, a soft and a table that sat four comfortably and six at a push, meaning we were able to enjoy a glass and a bite together at the end of the day.
Breakfast was excellent and served up fresh, with my scrambled eggs being brought out at 9:30, just when I wanted them :). For some it might be a hassle to tick the little boxes the night before, but you get exactly what you'd like and it saves on waste, which is fantastic.
Its worth a visit just to see the breakfast room, which is incredible, with the cosiest sofa corner, great light from a tiny mezzanine with vines hanging down.
All the staff I met were wonderfully welcoming, especially the gents who sorted breakfast and check out.
All in all, having booked a budget option that we were hoping would be ok, we got a great place we'll be very happy to visit again with wonderful staff, rooms and breakfast area.
Many thanks to everyone who took care of us and we hope to be back soon!
And
They thought very carefully about sustainability at breakfast time!
The staff were always ready to help and they were very friendly
It wasn't that far from the city and we had enough parking nearby and didn't have to use the hotel parking lot
We'd be happy to come back :)
The building is very thinly soundproof - so you are inevitably woken up by the clatter of dishes at 6:45/7:00 a.m.
"Strassenbahn Verbindung ist sehr gut, also exzellent um die Stadt zu erkundigen, obwohl Mann nicht Mitte drin ist."Read full review
