Overall we've had a great stay. Our room is the 2nd tier of rooms and is large and spacious. The front desk staff and concierge are lovely and helpful. The housekeeping is spotty. I've never had to request hair conditioner and evidently there are 2 tiers of products, the Kempinski brand and another. Usually in Europe you get water compliments...

The rooms in here are great. Dresden is a wonderful city to visit. This place is quite luxurious and has a great pool and spa type room. It is centrally located. The breakfast is well worth getting up for as the Kempinski food is always fantastic.

Located within walking distance to the Zwinger, Semperopera, Frauenkirche, and downtown. It's not cheap but enjoyable to stay there. Breakfast is served in a very nice courtyard. But it is not included in the price for the room. Parking is available for Euro 25 per night. If you don't mind paying more for everything, this is the hotel for you....

I have been in Kempinsky Dresden twice and after my recent visite, I will not even consider any other hotel in the city. Iam sure, there are other great hotels in Dresden, but Kempinsky is exactly how Iam imagining a classic luxury hotel. The rooms are all done with the sence of a detail and there is nothing to be...

The front desk reservation manager is a disgrace and very rude. Guests should avoid this location. My efforts to talk reasonable sense was of no avail as they would not want to listen. I ended up spending $$$ on international calls to Expedia US to sort this out and in the end I lost more money as the reservations manager...

The Kempinski Dresden is located in a beautiful old palace. The rooms are big and the staff is friendly. Kempinski like. As the best place in the city hey fulfilled my expectations. The concierge even made a reservation in a restaurant where it was already fully booked for days (I tried to make a reservation by myself a week before)....

Hotel Taschenbergpalais This is definitely on the top of my favorites. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. We were in room 152 right over the front door. As we were on an anniversary trip, we were greeted with a special dessert treat. One oddity in our room was that the toilet was in a totally separate room from the rest of...

Beautiful Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very central location. Close to all amenities, bars, cafes etc. Pool was nice, with sauna & spa. Close to christmas markets. Easy tram trip to central station.

Looking for a place to stay in Dresden that is close to the Semperoper and the Zwinger, this hotel was ideal. It is literally right across the street from both. They had a special that made it only marginally more expensive than other choices. The room was great and service was excellent.

I expect three things from a hotel with this rating: 1. Good water pressure in the shower 2. A comfortable bed 3. Tea making facilities in the room. This hotel provides none of these. They do, however, have room service, good views and a central location. The housekeeping staff were enthusiastic- I'm not sure why they were knocking on our...
