I arrived at the hotel considerably early at 9:20 am following a long-distance flight, having informed the front desk in advance of my early arrival and having agreed to pay an hourly rate €20 prior to the standard 3 pm check in time. The limousine transfer that cost €30 was very comfortable and I was surprised to be whisked in...

We liked this Hotel very much. The room was spacious and well maintained. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was also very good. We used the laundry services and this was also very good. The main gripe I have is that housekeeping just never replaced the toiletries. It was a...

This hotel is: 1. Beautiful - reminiscent of the castles and baroque architecture that surrounds it. 2. Well situated - Dresden is tiny, but this hotel is right in the middle of it all. 3. Comfortable & clean - large, spacious rooms with two comfy twin-sized beds (pushed together), great water pressure in the shower, turn down service and even...

Beautiful Hotel in a perfect location to explore Dresden. Close to many of the top attractions-opposite the Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera House and 5 minutes walk to the Frauenkirche, and Alt Stadt area with numerous shops, Restaurants and Cafes. With a tram stop and Tourist Bus stop outside the Hotel everything is in easy reach. Our room was spotless,...

We stayed for one night while touring Germany. The hotel is in a beautiful historic location, a short tram ride from the main station and close to the river. Nice bars close by - and near a brilliant currywurst stand (Curry 24)! The hotel, in particular the public areas, is very grand and comfortable. We had a light supper and...

fantastic Hotel with great staff. The Hotel is located just in the center of the old town of Dresden. Just next to the famous Semper Opera. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. We had dinner at the Paulaner Restaurant which service authentic Bavarian dishes. Amazing Breakfast with a wide selection of Pastry's and cold cuts.

Pros: This place is absolutely beautiful. The staff is attentive, the rooms are spacious and very nice and the bathtub is like a small swimming pool. Cons: We are casual tourists and the hotel was so fancy and the service so upper class that we felt somewhat out of place. That is more our fault then theirs, but it was...

Built originally in the 1700's and restored in 1995, this is a Fabulous hotel, with attentive staff, in an outstanding location - superb. Located in the "old town", fantastic architecture in and around the hotel; Opera, Grand Palace, etc. Very comfortable room, all the regular 5 Star amenities including a spectacular shoe shine service! Exceptional gym, spa, pool - almost...
