Its location was quite strategically placed – close to the nearby major tourist areas and also to the residential side of Trier, which meant that a supermarket was just around the corner and food/good easily purchased. I also wandered around the quiet residential neighborhood on my last day to see the other side of Trier, free from the tourists who...

Very affordable compared to the hotels in Trier but you get what you pay for... Very basic, dated and lacking character. Staff doesn't seem very interested. You pay 1 euro for wifi per device per day which really surprised me in a modern country like Germany where you would expect wifi to be freely available everywhere. It's the only hostel...

I stayed at this hostel for one night! It is a cheap but stylish place to stay at. The staff is nice and super welcoming. The rooms are clean and you have a locker to keep your personal stuff safe when you explore the city. So you will have a great time staying here for as many nights as you...

The owner was unfortunately unfriendly, unwilling to provide useful information or help. For instance, he sent us to a terrible hitchhiking location. There was no internet and the reception was sporadically staffed. Next time I would go somewhere else.

Too expensive for what it is and a bit dated.plus side shower and toilet in room. All rooms we booked varied in standard. Better hostel in town centre.good if with kids and need family room.doubles same price as hotels. I'm 50/50 on this one.

Visiting Hilles Hostel was just wonderful. The rooms are very beautiful and clean, so are the bathrooms. Never had such friendly personnel before! We stayed in Trier for 4 days, my friends and I felt very well taken care there and would come back any time and never find shelter anywhere else then in Hilles Hostel.

It is the only hostel in town. Watch the house dog, it may or may not be cranky. Facilities are spartan but serviceable..Free tea and coffee. Relatively close to the Porta Nigra, and the Mosel River is sweet.Trier is a day trip only and there are no trams or trains in the City, only the bus

My plan was to stay in this hostel while searching for an appartment. The hostel was exactly what I needed for this period. The crew is very friendly and helpful, the service was just excellent. Also the kitchen, rooms and bathrooms were clean and simple. The kitchen provides all the basics to cook and is at the same time the...

The only good thing I can say about this hostel is that the kitchen was very well equipped. Everything else was terrible. The receptionists couldn't care less about their guests IF they were there. They had opening hours from 9-12 and 14-18 I think but in fact they only stayed for 2 hours each shift. We couldn't use the wifi...
