This hotel is ideally located for tourists, but the area is a bit noisy for business. I did not get a good night sleep between late night revellers and early morning service men . The room was impeccable and breakfast excellent. The market across the road is good for lunchtime and many restaurants in close proximity for dinner.

I stayed at the Carat hotel with my husband who was in Dusseldorf for work. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. We were allocated a lovely room, the Junior Suit which was huge. The room was spotless and the bathroom large and clean. The shower was amazing, powerful and hot. The bed was two single beds pushed together...

Great location by the market square by the Old Town (Altstadt) and about 5 mins walk from the main metro/tram station of Heinrich-Heine-Allee. The hotel is a little dated by the rooms are clean and comfortable and of a reasonable size. Breakfast was good. Check-in and check-out staff friendly and efficient. Free wi-fi. No gym.

It is rare that I write a negative review, and I don't want to, but this hotel was just noisy. I had a room next to the staircase and everytime somebody used it, I could hear the door slamming, and the clatter of feet. And since I was on the first (NA 2nd) floor, it was used often. I also...

Bathroom seemed very clean and modern until i discovered the shower drain was blocked with weeks if not months of hair which i...

The hotel is in the perfect location in duesseldorf. Right in front is a daily market with great food stands and you are right in the altstadt as well. The koenigsallee, dueeseldorf's champs elysees, is 5 min walk away. The rooms are of a good business hotel standard and in the morning the hotel offers a great breakfast buffet. All...

Friendly staff, English spoken. Rooms were comfortable but small. Bathroom was spacious and updated. Elevator. Excellent breakfast (Fruestueck). An evening lounge area for drinks. Good location to explore Altstadt, the Ko, and mid-town. An open air market across the street with many goodies. Close to public transport.

This is my second visit to this hotel, and my impression was very simiar to my first visit. The staff are brilliant, breakfast was good and the location is perfect right next to the Altstadt. The Wifi signal was excellent and free so no complaints there. However ......I did book a double this time, and still the room was tiny...

Great location on the edge of the open air market in the old town. Our room was on 6th floor. The room overlooked the market, not sure I would want a room on the lower floors as we could here the traders setting up their stalls when it was still dark, even though we were on such a high floor. We...
