Definitely on the old side, but it offered good value for money and I would stay there again.
The hotel was functional, in a good location and had friendly and helpful staff.
Close to major transport routes and hubs.
Charged 419 Euro for one night due to trade show in town

Clean rooms tho quirky furniture. No restaurant or bar or room service. However plenty of bars and eateries nearby. If u need an inexpensive and central location then all is well. Near to Central Station.

Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main station) is about a 5 minute or less walk from the hotel. There are two airport stations, one under the terminal for the regional S-Bahn trains, and one connected via the "SkyTrain" monorail for the long distance trains. The easiest thing to do is to take the S11 train from the Düsseldorf airport S-Bahn station (look for the green S symbol) to the Hauptbahnhof. The ride is approx 12 minutes. Exit the railway station where there's a tram stop and follow the tracks left 2-3 blocks. The cost is only a few euros, I think less than 3 for adults.
