We booked a last minute trip to Dusseldorf and stayed in the Melia Hotel. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a great view over the park (8th floor). The city centre starts at the other side of the park, which is a 5-10 minute walk. The bar has great cocktails and also the food in the restaurant is...

once they will sort out the service, it will be a good choice, quiet, nice, modern, good location and nice and clear rooms; both check in and check out was just not as it should be: check in not friendly, inefficient and lengthy. checkout: too many people (line of 20+) and only 2 staff (at least they were nice)

Stayed here for a weekend at the beginning of April on a room only basis so I can't comment on Breakfast or any other restaurant or meal arrangements, The hotel is located just off Hofgarten Park and is a good 10 minute walk back through the park in order to reach the Alstadt, Rhein riverside area, Konigsalle and the shopping...

Spent three nights in March for business. Hotel is in a nice quiet location, walking distance to the old city. Only a few minutes walk to the subway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All spoke English. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, a lot of selection of hot and cold dishes.

Rooms stylish and comforable, especially the beds Staff, for a German hotel very friendly (in German and English, I speak both) Breakfast - good selection and courteous staff! Only problem I ever had was my fault, forgot to mention I have a down...

I've been there twice for business, it's a nice hotel with a modern touch. The rooms were large enough, airy and well kept - the carpets on the florrs are decaying though, hopefully to be replaced soon - it gives the place an unwarranted shabby look. The taxi booth outside only holds 2 or 3 cabs though - busy morning...

We've been in Düsseldorf 10 times the passed three years and the last 9 times we stayed at this hotel. :) Need I say more? Yes? Okay: the rooms are nice, breakfast is wonderful, free sauna, it's close to Altstadt, only 7-8 minutes walk to Köningsallee.. ! We'll be back ;)

I agree with all the other reviewers on the great location and nice, spotless decor. The hotel is Spanish owned, which manifests itself mainly in a huge collage of Spanish personalities on one wall of the hotel restaurant and good looking Spanish waiters :-). We stayed the night from New Year's eve to New Year's day and spent a good...

Fantastically located from the airport and town centre. We stayed here in december for 3 nights. Our room was great and had a fantastic view of Dusseldorf (room 1012). This was our first time with a Melia Hotel and this one was clean, well decorated and spacious room coupled with good staff and service.
