I would highlight the cleanliness and the very good location -walking distance to the Station and barely 10 minutes to the city centre. Room size particularly big in comparison with previous stays in Germany, the furniture is simple and looks rather new (the "wardrobe" bar to hang clothes did not have a "wardrobe" around... not sure if it is modern...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your time to write us a review. We are glad that you've enjoyed your stay with us while travelling to Cologne! Our hotel is an old building, renovated in style of art nouveau. Simple but charming. Therefore it’s not possible to install an elevator for our guests. The service we can offer is...

I stayed in this hotel for one night. Have been to Cologne several times and location is good. 5 mins to the hbf which you can cut through to get to old town, Dom etc. Really lovely staff, good, typical German breakfast room and clean comfy room. Weird thing is that all staff leave at 7pm. I needed them at...

We stayed for a romantic weekend in Cologne but we didn't want to spend too much. This was a perfect place. Good value for the money and very friendly service. Close to center and cathedral . we asked for a quiet room and we got a large and nice room towards the back of the hotel. 15€/day parking around the...

We stayed in this hotel during Drupa exhibition and it was one of the best deals according location, service and facilities. The rooms are in great condition and with a great taste. Breakfast is really good, although on the first sight it looks it hasn't a lot to offer there is a big variety of foods. The stuff is really...

Our two night stay at Casa Colonia was very good. The room was small, but comfortable. Our room overlooked the street and was quiet. Luggage elevator was great since we were on an upper floor. Staff was very accommodating and full of suggestions. Nice morning buffet to keep the motor running for the day. This is my fifth visit to...

Casa Colonia is a very small hotel with a great location! You can walk to the city center and even to Lanxess Arena! It is close to the Rhine and its Hohenzollern-Bridge! The staff is really friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and quite spacious!

Stayed for 1 night and a great small hotel in quiet location but only 5 minutes walk from the train station. Handy for the city centre sights, bars and restaurants. Good selection of drinks in the well priced minbar. Clean and well presented with good staff. breakfast was good. I had a room at the back overlooking the courtyard and...

A small hotel, really a B&B but with 16 rooms. Very clean room , very quiet, no restaurant but located just 100 mtrs from the centre/Dom and all the restaurants/bars. Continental breakfast was ok . single room was E99 per night. A different type of hotel, which may appeal to some.

We stayed for only one night, but this was one of the better hotels we stayed in throughout our Europe trip. The staff are lovely, it is easy to find and very comfortable. Location is always important (most important I would say), and this place is close to the train station, and provides a good base from which to explore...

This is our 2nd stay at this cute little 15 room inn. We would definitely return as it is just great. The rooms are nice & have all you will need and the breakfast is wonderful. Just know that if you arrive after office hours, they use a service in Berlin to let you in & we had to try...

“My colleagues were happy with their rooms as well so don't think it matters which floor you choose. But might be less noisy if going high.”

“If you want a view of the Dome choose a room upstairs, facing the front street. If you have trouble with the stairs specifically ask for a lower level room. If you want to avoid noise then choose a back room. No smoking in the rooms (no exceptions).”

“Ask for 1st or 2nd floor rooms. No elevator so 3rd or 4th floor would be annoying to climb stairs.”

“We had a room on the fourth floor, it had a great view of the Dom and had air conditioning. Only down side was the walk up stairs but then after breakfast we needed to burn a few calories off. There is a lift for your luggage so you only have to lug yourself up there.”
