This was my 4th visit to Rodenkirchen this year and I booked in for a 3 night stay at Camping Berger. Arrived to find the site was quiet and peaceful. We drove round to the field that we normally use was empty - as usual. On day two we were getting ready to go out for the day when a...

Stopped for 3 nights. good location on the banks of the Rhine big well kept site very good toilet and shower facilities.friendly staff. Prices a little bit steep in comparison to other sites I have been too. Wild parakeets flying around the site which is a nice sight. Easy access to Cologne centre on the the tram or the bus.

Cycle touring round Europe, this was my 28th campsite. I was told that there weren't many campsites north of Cologne and as I was heading to Rotterdam I decided to stop on a recommendation. Initially all was good, clean showers, beer garden and view of the Rhine. I had a couple of beers and some food in the beer garden...

This campsite is well run. Checking in could n't be easier with attentive staff, and costs not too frightening. Campsite location was good, along the banks of the Rhine, with easy access to public transport for trips to Bonn and Cologne. Amenities are also good, but for those travelling on a budget there is a Lidl not far away.

This was our second stay at Camping Berger, we stayed in August for a few days, loved it so much we stayed on an extra 2 nights. The staff are great, prices very reasonable, facilities are top class and the camping site is just a short spin on the Tram into Cologne. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lets get the basics out first - the site is in a great location for Cologne and Bonn, and the single toilet block is a thing of beauty, complete with local radio playing. During our week's visit, all puddles were filled in with gravel to keep the site in good condition. There are large concrete plinths mainly for motorhomes, which...

We stayed on several occasions. It could be a very nice site, if they would take care of a few important issues. The biggest issue would be, that the monitoring of guests end on arrival. Then everybody is left for themselves and everybody has to find his own place to camp. This is leading to plenty of frustration on many...

We stopped at this campsite on the first day of our interrailing holiday. We rang the campsite in advance to check if we needed to book and were told that wasn't necessary as there was plenty of space. We got the metro to Rodenkirchen (10,40 return for the two of us from the Hauptbahnhof) and walked to the campsite, which...

Actually stayed here in 2006 for the World Cup. In all there were quite a few of us in our group. We were all given pitches together and made to feel welcome. It was busy on there, throughout the whole 3 week stay, but staff maintained the camp well. Toilets, shower blocks etc. Were always kept clean and tidy. Staff...

We stayed here in August for two nights in our Motorhome having rang the site to book they said there was no need so we arrived around three and the reception said park where you want and can find room so off we went well to say the pitches were a shambles was an understatement people. We're pitched all over...
