As the name suggests, its very accessible in terms of getting around the main part of town. Friendly and courteous staff, a very nice breakfast and a spacious room. We checked in very easily arriving late from Berlin. The staff spoke excellent English. We were out most of the time as we we revisiting our daughter but when in and settled... More

This hotel lies on the Judengasse (Jew street) and is a decent, central hotel. I staid here not knowing about its dark past; it used to be the center of the NSDAP, from where pogroms, such as the one that made my grandparents flee from Gottingen (and Germany). The hotel is otherwise what you expect from a small town central... More

I visited in may 2015 for a short work trip. I stayed on the 3rd floor in a room on the street side. It was loud at night, there is a lot of walkers and bar patrons around, and it's a bus rout. Nice place with all the basics. Good breakfast, very nice staff. The area is right in the... More

Driving to this hotel was a little confusing because you are not able to use the directions the navigation system (GPS) provides. Please call the hotel for alternate directions if you’re using a GPS. The hotel is located very close to the pedestrian foot area. There are a lot of shops and establishments for eating. We were here for an... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The interior is very tastefully decorated, much more upscale than the pictures on the hotel's website suggest. Service was courteous, attentive, always friendly. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices. My room went out to the street (which is a pedestrian area), and it was not too noisy. Location could not be more central.... More

The hotel could not be better situated. The room I had was extremely basic: it didn't even have a desk to work from, instead there was a sort of roller-table. The bed was comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. There seems to be some variation in the different rooms' size and furniture so it may pay to shop around.... More

The location is hard to beat and the personnel is very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size but it is getting a bit worn and could do with a refresh in the not too distant future. Parking is available nearby. Decent value for money if nothing exceptional.

We stayed a family of 5 in this nice hotel. The staf was very friendly and helpsome. They gave good hints for nice restaurants and spoke english very well, which was a great help for us. Nice and clean rooms and good breakfast. The only minus was that we were there at a very hot periode and at the room... More

It's certainly central - very well-placed for all the attractions in the old center of town. My room was very spacious, almost a suite. A bed, part-separated from the rest of the room by a screen, and a sofa and chairs around a coffee table as well as a desk to work at. Whether they are all like that, I... More

We stayed six nights at this hotel just before Easter and were perfectly content. If this is any recommendation for you, if we return to Göttingen in the near future, which is likely, we intend to stay here again. We had a room on the top floor, at the back: this was a bit of a pain because there is... More
