Besides ticking all the fundamentals (price, cleanliness, location, and ease of check in/out) the above and beyond service from everyone we encountered at the hotel was praise worthy.
They were able to accommodate a very late check-in on a Sunday, help us with some special needs all whilst making us feel welcome.
Thanks for everything :)

Close to the exhibition centre (Messe) and a large shopping centre (Skyline Plaza). I stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting relatives over New Year.
Friendly and very good service at check in. The rooms are a good size, modern and clean with the usual Premier Inn comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean with a good shower ; both a rain shower and handheld. You get limited supply of tea/coffee in the room. Breakfast is well priced at €9.90.
There’s a large bar / lounge area that does an extended happy hour from 5pm (2 for 1). Again the service was very good.
For the price I paid, it was excellent value for money. I think it’s the best Premier Inn I have stayed in ...and I have stayed in quite a lot! The only down side I could find was some of the seating in the bar area was torn and needed replacing.

First of all we could not change our reservation to shorten it 1 day more than a month before - not a cheap experience. Not even the breakfast could be cancelled. Which modern hotel can have a cancellation policy like that?
Secondly the amenities in the room are present - only hand/main soap, not even a real shampoo and no other toiletries, and only one large towel in total.
The breakfast was disappointing and not for anyone with any dietary restrictions.
When we wanted a drink in the hotel bar, we could only pay in cash and not able to put it on the room. Only got a comment in the reception that then all other would also want it on the room.
To top it all of I was greeted by silverfish (small icky insect) in the armchair. Don’t want to know what I’m bringing home.

Clean and modern hotel. About a 20 minute walk to the train/bus station. Great value for the price. Location is about a 30-40 minute walk to many popular downtown places, but feels to be in a safer area compared to other hotels. Front desk staff were very welcoming and offered advice on where to visit and eat at. Only issue we had was that we were only supplied with 1 bath towel (room was booked for 2 people), however when we asked for another towel we were quickly given one. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel, clean, large rooms, wonderful beds that are very comfortable. In addition to the "soft" pillows, there are also "harder" pillows in the room that you can use. If you wish, you can get a thinner duvet. There are 3 mirrors in the room, one of which is illuminated and one in which you can see yourself in full size.
There is a kettle, a small selection of teas, air conditioning and backlighting of the bed at the headboard in the hotel's brand color.
I deduct half a point for the bathroom that smells of drains and another half for the calcified rain shower.
The shower in the spacious bathroom was equipped with a sliding door and so there was no flooding as is often the case in other hotels.
A pleasant house, clear and reduced, without visual frills that make you feel blind

Arrived at their car park after an 8 hour drive to see "Das Parkhaus ist besetzt" (Car Park is full). I press the emergency button 5 times for Premier Inn, nobody answers over a 15 minute period. The queue behind me is now building up and the barrier stays down. Again, no one answers.
After 20 mins the barrier opens and I drive in to find at least 40+ free spaces in the Premier Inn part! Explained all this to receptionist with glasses on, was there even a HINT of "Sorry sir", "Sorry for your 20 minute wait sir" ... NO! Not an OUNCE of compassion that I'd been holding up traffic because their system is sh*t. This is poor customer service but hey, we're in Germany.
AC in room doesn't work or correspond to what appears on the TV screen as a guide, it is stuck on 'Central' and doesn't cool the room.
Three people sitting on reception chattinf in the morning and the hand sanitizers in reception are empty.
Breakfast - cooked selection was luke warm at best. Plates are to be collected from the opposite end of where you walk in = confusion and delay when getting breakfast.
Poor customer experience. Premier Inn works in the UK but not in Frankfurt as the German employees just have ZERO idea about customer service.
I will not be returning here unless Premier Inn refund my parking.

Dear jno Wales, We’re sorry to read that your stay with us wasn’t fully to your satisfaction. We are very sorry to hear that your stay at Premier Inn was affected by the appearance of a member of our hotel staff. A friendly approach is important to us, and we receive a lot o positive feedback by many guests for the service at the reception. We sincerely apologize for not receiving the warm service that our guests are normally used to from Premier Inn Frankfurt Messe. The room temperature is adjustable. In each room there is a small control unit right next to the entrance door in your room. If assistance is required, our colleagues at the hotel reception will be happy to help you. As an alternative to the air conditioning the windows in your room can be completely opened. You are welcome to ask the front desk staff in order to open the window completely. For safety reasons, the default setting is designed for tilting. Especially in the rooms, which are facing the courtyard, an undisturbed night's sleep is guaranteed even when the windows are completely open. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon again to show you that we can do better. kind regards, your Premier Inn Frankfurt Messe Team

For the price paid ($100 AUD) per night, this hotel was excellent.
The room was a reasonable size and perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to be able to open the window and enjoy the fresh air.
I was surprised to see a number of British channels on the tv. It’s a nice gesture by premier inn to provide these English speaking channels despite this hotel being in Germany.
The location is quiet good, their is a shopping centre nearby and the tram is a short walk which connects you to Frankfurt HBF where you can travel throughout the region from. This was the purpose of my stay in Frankfurt, to use this hotel and it’s proximity to the HBF as a base for my travel to the neighbouring towns and cities. This worked quiet well. Try and avoid hanging around the HBF after dark.
Areas for improvement:
After 30 hours of travel I was initially refused an early check in at 9am. This was not unreasonable as check in is at 3 but a little flexibility by premier inn with regard to their check in policy would be appreciated. I would have been happy to pay extra for an early check in during the booking process. I was grateful for the front desk team allowing me to check in early.

It is quite common for hotels to charge a surcharge if you book an early check-in or late check-out of several hours in advance, because this also means the hotel has to spend a certain amount of time coordinating cleaning, etc.
What I experienced as a long-term guest at the Premier Inn Frankfurt-Messe, however, left me speechless:
I arrived at around 1 p.m. to check in. The employee there told me that check-in was only possible at 3 p.m. Since the hotel seemed quite empty, I asked whether there really weren't any rooms free and cleaned yet, since I would like to leave my suitcase there and don't want to stand in line again in the evening.
I was then told that many rooms were already ready, but if I wanted to leave my suitcase there now, I would have to pay a 15 euro surcharge for early check-in (which my employees and I, who have been booking the hotel for years, have never experienced).
Since the employee had some difficulty with the German language, I assumed there was a misunderstanding and asked again whether they would really charge a surcharge just because I wanted to leave my suitcase in the room that had been reserved for me and was already ready?
The answer was a rude "yes". Since I declined, I had to queue up again to check in that evening.
This surcharge for a room that was already ready has absolutely nothing to do with a reasonable early check-in or late check-out surcharge with a corresponding guarantee, but is simply an attempt at "outrageous rip-off". I will avoid this hotel in the future and also tell my employees to book somewhere else if possible.
P.S. The night before I was at the Eurostar Grand Central in Munich and asked if I could check out two hours later. The answer was that this was of course possible (without a surcharge!). I would be happy to come back here.

Hello. If you wanted to stay here, you can get to the Christmas market (which is at the Römerberg square, if what I've read is correct) by walking about 10 minutes to the Festhalle/Messe U-Bahn stop, then taking the U4 three stops to Dom/Römer. However, if the market is your main reason for visiting, I'd look for somewhere closer to the city's centre.
I would contact the hotel direct, in my experience Premier Inn are quite happy to hold your luggage securely.
