Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Hotel is nice looks to have been renovated, bathrooms look new, good size room. Staff friendly.
Coffee pod machine in the room
Some amenities in bathroom
Friendly staff & decent breakfast.
Located a 2 minute walk across the road to Frankfurt Main train station which is why we stayed here the one night.

Located next to pub/clubs so music can be heard till early hours of the morning.

Streets outside I would t walk down at night groups of people standing around drinking outside stores. Streets the next morning were full of rubbish, government really needs to clean up this area as it’s a shame for these hotels to have to put up with this on their doorstep.

When you travel around in these tireing times due official obligations as a crew member you don't expect too much on the platter but one of your staff members violeta bajralija, @ reception desk made my stay a memorable one I was staying at your property in room 2313,@ leonardo Frankfurt around the 5 of June on an official trip and she went and did everything in her capacity to make it as comfortable as possible.
The very reason that she was exceptionally good and smileing bought me back after a hiatus and write something for her I wish her all the very best for her future endeveaours and a speedy recovery to the battling service industry.. Way to go with such staff you can only get better from here looking to see you around on the other side soon guys cheers!

Dear Manaschawala, It is very nice to hear this great praise for our employee. Thank you very much that you and the airline you work for have remained so loyal to leonardo hotels. Unfortunately you have directed your praise to the Leonardo City Center but you are staying at the Leonardo Royal Frankfurt. Stay healthy and all the best.

The hotel is super clean and the staff is friendly. The only thing is the area, past 8pm it's kind of creepy, I recommend going to the river and then to the town centre by foot instead of going through the Bahnhof Viertel. Otherwise the hotel itself is very good, I totally recommend.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location for taking the train.
Just across the street from Frankfurt Central Station.
The hotel is located on Münchner Strasse, right next to Kaiser Strasse, and the hotel is on the right.
I was wondering what it would be like around the station because it is said to be unsafe, but
the area around the hotel was particularly safe.

Overall, I think it is a very good hotel.
Located right next to the station.

The breakfast is delicious.
It is served from 6:30 to 10:00, so it is convenient for early morning train travel.
Even if you go at 6:30, there is a full range of food.
There is not a large selection, but they have everything:
bread, cheese, yogurt, ham, fruit, egg dishes (especially delicious!), vegetables (there were no tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, or leafy vegetables), etc.

They have gummies available at the front desk. I was happy about that.

The rooms are clean and well-cleaned.
1,000ml of water is provided free of charge, but only on the first day.
No refrigerator. No soap.
Hand soap and body soap are provided.
There is a hair dryer.

There is a kettle.

There are restaurants nearby,

and a supermarket on Kaiserstrasse next door, so it's convenient.

It's a 20-minute S-Bahn ride to the airport.

5,80€

The staff was kind.

I arrived around 12 o'clock, but I was able to check in.

The Staedel Museum was about a 15-minute walk away.

A nice hotel.

I had booked a small single room (start of the book fair - prices in Frankfurt are astronomical) and thought - OK, that's fine for one night. But small is to be taken absolutely literally here - narrow single bed, suitcase has to be opened on the desk (small trolley for one night) - the bathroom was tiny and cold, stank of mildew - which was also visible in the shower.
No decent light in the room or bathroom.
BUT very fluffy new hand and bath towels.
Breakfast room was also very cold and drafty.

The best thing about the whole hotel was the staff - all very friendly, helpful and service-oriented - I've had much worse experiences in better hotels.

Nevertheless: never again: every IBIS Budget is a palace compared to that!

1st time was ok. Reserved comfort room and it was standard as expected. 2nd time was a disaster. Reserved comfort room but they gave me single and terrible room like this small capsules in Japan. I complained and reception said I booked wrong. I showed my reservation and they said it wad expedia fault, and after a hell of discussion got an “upgrade”: comfort room without hot water. Next morning after I threat them giving hard feedback to my corporate travel manager, they gave a comfort standard room. During night a “opera singer” start singing in the next door room. Crazy hotel crazy guest. Do not recommend. The surroundings are dangerous with lots of pick pockets and drug users. And it is not that cheap. Does not worth the money paid. Find another because this one is terrible.

Noisy rooms, breakfast must beg. At 10 o'clock there's almost nothing left. Although breakfast is until 10:30 h. The guest is disturbing as the staff at breakfast has absolutely no interest in meeting the guest's wishes. Buffet is not replenished. They had put food back for themselves, which the guest then lacked. 17 euros for empty containers and resting eggs, which is in a puddle of water. Tea will not be replenished either, until tomorrow, said the unfriendly staff member of the hotel. That's cheating!

The worst hotel in this price range that I have ever seen.
The location is well-known, the train station is close, the junkies are right outside the door.
The rooms are small, run-down and badly cleaned.
Someone had recently relieved their stomach contents in front of the stairs - which was still clearly visible.
For a night costing more than 150 EUR, this hotel is an outrage... a complete disaster.
The Leonardo chain should be ashamed of this hotel!

We were in Frankfurt for the first time this weekend. The area where the hotel is located has shown us the true side of Frankfurt. Hats off to all employees. Who experience the day every day. The hotel makes sure you forget all the hustle and bustle outside from inside. We were greeted on arrival with a coffee as the room was not ready yet. The room was also equipped with a coffee machine. So perfect for all coffee lovers. I can recommend the hotel to anyone who values the location. But I wouldn't recommend the hotel to families. The staff of the hotel let the hotel flourish despite the area!

Hi I am unable to answer the question re charges for children. The hotel is located about 500 meters from main train station and you can catch the hop on hop off bus there. As the hotel is situated within the city centre the area is extremely busy and there are many people hanging around outside the hotel drinking and the immediate areas. There is also a lot of beggars. There is also a nightclub next to the hotel so there can be a lot of noise which could keep you and your family awake. However the location is very convenient.

Dear Anne. This hotel is very close to Central, but not special. If you have special stay, I recommend to select a little more gorgeous hotel. I hope your anniversary will be significant.
