The Radisson Blu Hotel, Frankfurt garners accolades for its central location, striking views, and contemporary rooms, although a few guests have encountered problems with shower temperature and worn towels. While some guests consider the pricing steep for leisure stays, business travelers find the value reasonable. The hotel's cleanliness receives consistent praise, as does the modern atmosphere, though the gym's ventilation has room for improvement. Service quality varies, with commendations for professionalism alongside remarks about the occasional slow breakfast service.

Overall the hotel is good value for money. Our room on the 10th floor had a great view of Frankfurt. The room itself was a bit small which probably explains the small double bed. Trays left on the corridor from other guests (room service) weren’t cleared for a good 12 hours. The bar and service was pleasant although staff’s attitude to the mice running around was somewhat unprofessional. When all said and done they’re rodents and may look cute but very unhygienic. Breakfast was good but not on a par with Marriott in Cologne where we stayed on the Friday bright. Radisson's charging policy is inconsistent. Our son was staying there at the same time, booked directly via the Rewards system but he paid considerably more than us who booked via Booking.com

I stayed for several days at the Radisson shortly before Xmas. The hotel is freshly renovated and very stylish. The staff during check-in and at breakfast was very helpful and friendly. I had a room with a view to the city center which was amazing. The breakfast was very nice. They even have a live egg station as well as a chinese breakfast corner. I am not chinese, nevertheless I tried the dishes : ))
Only I have to say that the room is not very sound proof. The cleaning that took place in the rooms around mine was disturbing. You could hear the duster as well as the doors closing. Beside that this is a great hotel to stay for business or private purpose. The city center is easy to reach by tram. The tram station is directly in front of the hotel and it takes max. 10 min. to get to the city.

I have been staying in the hotel every Heimtex for past seven years. I see upgradation of rooms over a period of time. Obviously size of rooms can't be changed however internal decoration makes rooms look spacious and comfortable.

Perhaps this review is limited to check in during late hours past midnight. Me and my friend arrived, weary after a long day of travel. We were to only guests at the reception, yet it took 30 mins for the receptionist to finally pass over to me my room cards. Went up, and found out it wasn’t a twin bed room which I specifically asked for at check in as well as via email prior to check in (with no reply). So we went down to ask for another room and after another 15mins or so we went to our new room and surprise, surprise it was another room with a queen bed. We gave up at that stage as we valued our sleep more than to try our request again, had to settle on sleeping in the same bed as my friend. Furthermore that during check in, my card was charged the preauthorisation twice. I’m also a Radisson platinum member, with the exception of the breakfast I received no other benefits such as the complimentary drinking water, welcome gift or room upgrade. During all this, there wasn’t any genuine apology or even any acknowledgment of any of the many mistakes they’ve made. The staff simply didn’t care, nor did they want to be there. I’ve been to other Radisson properties before and had great experiences, but this was one of the worst I’ve had and it irritated me so much I had to write this review.

I travel for work regularly, spending more than 60 nights a year in hotels. I normally stay in Hilton brand hotels but for this trip to Frankfurt the meeting organizers asked attendees to stay in the Radisson Blu Frankfurt. I have never stayed in a Radisson Blu before but the website and decent reviews made me think this was going to be a good experience. I was wrong and since this was my first impression with Radisson Blu, I doubt I would ever stay in one of their properties again.

The lobby and public spaces were nicely designed and staff at check-in were friendly. But my room was very disappointing. The room temperature was very warm. The air conditioning control did not indicate the temperatures you could select but I had it set as low as possible and the room would never get comfortable. I was told by the front desk staff that the air conditioning in the room would not go below 22C but it felt much warmer than that. You could not open the hotel window (understandable since it is a tall building) but the hotel does not even have fans available for guests who would like the room cooler. Several other guests who attended the same meeting as I did also said their rooms were very room. You can always use blankets to get warmer but there is nothing you can do to get cooler without a fan or something similar. For this reason alone I would never recommend this hotel but there were a few other examples that contribute to my poor rating. There was no soap or shampoo in my room upon check-in. Luckily, they did bring some after I asked but this should be something that housekeep quality control covers before each room is made avilable. Two of my colleagues also had the same problem. Another issue were the towels in the room. Very low quality for this type of hotel. Finally, there was an issue with my bill upon check-out. My meeting ended early and I was able to fly home one day early. I mentioned to the front desk the night prior that I would be checking out the next morning, one day early. The following morning I had to leave for the airport at 5am. There was nobody at the front desk but one of the employees told me to leave my key in the box at the front desk and they would email me the receipt. When I got home I contacted the hotel a few days later because I never received the receipt. When I did, they charged me for the last night. I questioned them and they had no record of me checking out a day early. It wasn't worth the hassle of trying to dispute so I just accepted the fact that I would need to pay for the last night.

This is a very striking hotel on the exterior being somewhat circular and outlined in blue neon. The quality and service however were a letdown. The rooms were quite spartan and were poorly stocked with neither toiletries or coffee being supplied. We made several calls to reception requesting both – neither of which ever arrived, and we ended up fetching them from housekeeping ourselves.
The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood outside of central Frankfurt with nothing much around of any interest. The interior lobby and restaurant were very well appointed and there is even a small garden terrace in the back of the hotel which looks pleasant.
Another disappointment was the restaurant (and room service options). The only option for breakfast was an overpriced buffet- no ala carte menu, as for room service- none was offered at all at any time which was terribly inconvenient as we had arrived late in the evening.
This hotel was acceptable for a one-night stay but certainly not a place you would want to spend any more time.
The best part of our stay were the pleasant front desk reception staff who were very helpful when our airline had misplaced our luggage and we needed to have it forwarded on.

Payment up front on arrival, don't expect to be allowed to charge items to your room, you're not allowed on not trusted anymore.
Bring your ingredients with you if you want an omelet for breakfast, if they are not on display at the egg counter, you wont get them in your omelet, I had to go to the salad bar and get my ingredients because the chef was too lazy to and said they were out of tomatoes and peppers, despite them being a few feet away.
If there in no one at the omelet station, do not order an omelet from a waiter, a chef will appear from the back kitchen and and shout you you threateningly that there are no omelets. Hopefully someday he will get a slap from a customer as he deserves one.
Hilton Honors have a great selection of hotels at the airport and in Frankfurt city, a lot better than this rip off of a place that has a serious attitude problem towards its customers who pay their wages.

This review pertains to the (terribly lacking and nonexistent) customer service experience I’ve had with Radisson Blu of Frankfurt. I booked a non-refundable rate because they advertised during the booking process they are flexible to reschedule if dates change. I have requested on several occassions to change my dates due to a schedule change and they have repeatedly denied without any comments or other communication. I have attempted to respond to their denials, sending emails directly to their email address on the website, and having my booking agent reach out (phone and email), to no avail. My booking agent was even hung up on! They have availability for the new dates I need (I’ve searched on multiple booking sites as well as their own website). The lack of response is completely unacceptable and unprofessional - to the point that I will not be staying at Radisson hotels in the future. If you book with them, please ensure that your booking rate offers cancellation because they do not honor their statement of flexibility to reschedule if your plans change.

The new self check-in system at the reception is not nice! Price per night for parking is high, 28€.
Several windows and mirrors were not clean, especially in the bar area. The general feeling was not warm welcoming. Savings had been done, the fridge in the room was not working, no drinks. Coffee machine, Nespresso, good. The room was good, functional, the bathroom was good, but small. No little portions of shampoo, conditioner or cremes were offered. Toiletries were in large bottles fixed in the shower.

There's a tram nearby the hotel that takes you to the central station. From there all the markets are in walking distance
