Great location and very friendly staff. The rooms are large but the basement of the hotel, all in black since the refurbishing, rather gloomy. Good breakfast buffet but fruits, except for apples, missing. Very good price for prime location.
Stayed here for two nights for a business trip. Good location, clear room, comfortable bed, good shower, iron in the room - all you need. Price is about right I guess compared to the nearby hotels (it’s a better hotel than the Turm, but not as nice as Flemings). Breakfast was ok, but lacking some fresh fruit, croissants etc.
I was a guest in this hotel 4 days, got good deal, thus i booked it. Location was good, just nearby to my office, breakfast was standard, could ask for more fruit choice, but can live with that. Room fits to its price, if i had to pay full price, then i would not be happy. The most negative part is construction works going all around, so the discounts :)
I stayed one night here for business as it was relatively close to the financial centres and 'Altstadt' part of town. I have since re-read older reviews and I can confirm that in March 2017 the situation is still a bleak one. I'm actually surprised that I booked this myself (but then again I'm only here for one night by myself on business). The hotel itself has an enormous crane parked in front, the hotel is essentially one massive construction site. Scaffolding runs around the hotel so when you draw the curtains back there is only scaffolding for you to look at. The curtains themselves are of a net type, allowing a lot of light through and forcing you to wake up early. The bed is extremely comfortable however. The decor of the room can only be described as uninviting. Another reviewer stayed in the same room it seems, I also got the creepy batman portrait on the wall watching over me. The decor is pretty dated and simple. I believe the rate I'm paying is in excess of €150 per night so I'm pretty surprised. The rooms don't have adequate sound proofing so I could hear fellow residents when they entered and left their rooms, it almost felt we were in the same flat! Shower was good, bed was comfy, hotel is located walking distance to some eateries. Other than that, I would strongly recommend you avoid this hotel. The renovation it seems has been going on for more than 6 months (based on a quick look at reviews). Once it's complete it might be the 4* it claims to be!…
This hotel is just cheating. The website shows untrue pictures. The hotel is being renovated and has the charm of a building site. The Wellness is closed. Breakfast is temporarily in a normal room, no Cappuccino just the worst coffee in Germany. The air is full of Dust from the building site making it difficult to sleep properly. Don´t go there!
