Location was very near the romerberg christmas market.. Room was well equiped. Breakfast spread is acceptable. Maybe can add-in a few more hot/cooked items (ie. sausages / bacon / fried eggs).. Very friendly and helpful hotel personals...

Location is good but rest all get compromised. Even the location has its negatives. Since there is no aircondition in the hotel and it was a hot day so I left a window open at night. Very early in the morning somebody kept playing music with very high volume and that woke me up. The place is, in general, quite...

This hotel is basically attached to the Dome (maybe 20 meters away). Also super close to the metro station. The staff is very friendly and breakfast is decent. Anyway, it really needs to be updated; the rooms are dark when the sun goes down. Anyway location is really the selling point.

We fully agree with the previous review of the hotel labelled "Simple". There is no doubt that the hotel is perfectly located, right next to the cathedral ("Dom"), just a few steps from shopping, sights and public transportation to the railway station and the airport. There are also many features we liked, like the renovated bathroom, comfy bedding, large TV,...

The location of the hotel is amazing no doubts and very clean; however it is overpriced for the standard of the rooms. There is no safe box in the room and very simple. The breakfast is just below average for the same price you can get by far better options. People are very nice and helpful and it has WIFI...

The staff of the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. The location was excellent and near to the metro station, city centre and shops. However the price for one night was quite unacceptable. Breakfast as usual no suprises there

Hotel Am Dom is very easy to get to from the Frankfurt airport. The train and underground system get you to Romer station very quickly and it is a short walk from the station entrance to the hotel. (maybe 100 meters) The hotel itself is exactly what I expected for the location/price. The room was small, but perfect for 1...

The hotel is very central but there is a restaurant under it so rooms are noisy until midnight and beyond - even in winter. Breakfast is very poor, after two days you don't bother to go down. Smokers are not welcome, even in smoking rooms - they set the (again very noisy) fan in the bathroom on maximum time -...

Passed through FRA again and stayed at the am Dom. I ride the S8 or S9 train from the airport and walk less than 2 blocks to the hotel. It can't get any easier than that for an inexpensive stay in downtown Frankfurt. The rooms are very comfy and spacious. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. I will stay...

I stay at the Hotel am Dom frequently. It is an excellent hotel, very clean and the staff are wonderful. It has an excellent location with easy access to the metro. Great morning breakfast. A real value for the money.

“As i mentioned the Paulaner Am Dom restaurant is located below the hotel, if you are very worried about noise see if it is possible to get a room that is not located directly above it. If you plan on experiencing the night life, noise will not be an issue.”

“If travelling solo I would suggest a 'French' room rather than a single; they're slightly better appointed and the bed a fraction wider - all for only a modest increase in rate.”
