Rooms are nice, big enough beds, wifi, modern bathrooms and all on top of included in the price nice breakfast which although might looks small its always refilled and offerers everything you might expact from a hotel breakfast.
But location is really the selling point. Not just to main train station but also walking distance (15-20min) to city center and Zeil shopping but I guess also Messe exhibition center if coming for work or such.
Will probablly use it again as I travel to Frankfurt couple times a year.
Price affordable and a bit below average.
This is a small hotel and when you choose a small hotel there are pluses and minuses. The minus for me was that on my first night, the fan in the shower didn't turn off and this was unable to be fixed, especially since it was a Sunday night (the night manager did try). It was somewhat annoying but because it was my first night and I was so jet lagged, I just put up with it.
This hotel is also only one block (heading towards the railway station) from a very seedy section of town, as I walked to and from the railway station, as a single woman, its important to be aware of this.
Walking into the old quarter is a relatively easy walk in another direction, although not the shortest walk. Also, I had a single room facing the front driveway, this I found to be a bit on the noisy side as people gathered outside as they came and went and talked in the driveway at all hours of the day and night.
Breakfast was fantastic, really nice. Room was a good price. Its a charming hotel, if you have a room that suits you and walk in the right areas, then all good.
Located in a clean and quiet mainly residential area close to the train station. The area where the hotel is located is nice, but the neighbouring block, however, "Bahnhof Viertel" is horrible. You have to pass through it almost wherever you're going from the hotel, but despite seeming quite horrible the individuals in the block seem to leave tourists alone.
I'd be happy to stay here again, should I come back to Frankfurt.
This is a modest, simple hotel, very clean, which has a family-run feel. Staff is helpful - one helped me deal with a troublesome taxi driver, for example.
Breakfast is good and in the summertime can be enjoyed in the hotel's garden courtyard.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for "cheap and cheerful" accommodations in a good location in Frankfurt. Take a stroll around the neighborhood, as well.
"It should be noted that if you come by train, you have to cross some not very reassuring streets around the station to approach the hotel."Read full review
