I stayed here for business, it’s close to the exhibition centre which is great but it was still very expensive for such a small and basic room. I have to say though that the room was very clean, staff were very helpful and breakfast was fine with a fair amount of options.

Such a perfect hotel for us on our short stay in Frankfurt. In easy walking distance to beautiful Palmengarten and underground only two stations to city centre. The room was so comfortable and clean. All the people at reception couldn't have been more helpful and really added to our enjoyment of the city. Would love to stay here again if we revisit Frankfurt.

The Palmenhof allows you to go back in time to 1990 (but take your devices with you). Upon arrival, the friendly staff greet you and courteously and efficiently take care of business. And they get even friendlier the longer you stay, as you drop off your enormous key fob each time you leave and collect it again each time you return, just like the old days. The beds and bathrooms are mostly just as they were 30 years ago in similar hotels (I wasn’t in this hotel in 1990) — single bed, tiny shower stall. One clue it’s the 21st century: wifi. The location is very convenient, the neighborhood is full of baby strollers and kids on bikes, and a wonderful city park is nearby. I’d gladly stay again for business.

You travel here and there! you’ve got Frankfurt on the list! you make to Frankfurt, but!! You need to go have some rest at HOME! so.. no need to think twice, it’s Palmenhof! at Bockenheimer Landstraße, where you can easily feel at home, there’s no that sophisticated luxury bla bla bla of fave or whatever stars! people over there are nice enough, rooms are very nice, like a cozy attic room where you leave the world behind and feel the comfort and serenity! go have your breakfast in the morning and pack your stuff for a wonderful walk eaither in the old city district, or you can try a wwlk in Bad Homburg! Doesn’t matter just make your mind and press the ON button! It’s worth it! Cheers!

The hotel is located in a nice district of the city with easy transport links to all the key areas. Unfortunately the rooms are very small and in dire need of a refurbishment (they look like a mid 80s tribute), mine was also pretty cold. The double bed was comfortable but only had a very thin single duvet so no possibility of snuggling up. Wifi is difficult to link to and very slow Bathroom tap was sensor controlled which is great but made trying to shave a challenge as I rinse the blade out under the tap and it isn't large enough to activate the sensor. The shower was pretty powerful but the towels were like sandpaper. Honestly it felt like an extremely cheap budget hotel and had the price reflected that then there could have been some forgiveness but it was actually pretty pricey when compared to many other places in town.
