We booked three rooms for a family trip to the Christmas Market in Frankfurt in December 2023. As Melia Rewards Gold members, we used one of our 20% discount vouchers at the Hilton in Frankfurt, where we've stayed before.

The hotel has a unique layout on floors 22 to 28 of the building. The rooms were clean, but the design wasn't great. In one room, the shower cubicle was in the middle of the room, so there was no privacy. We got upgraded to a larger room, but the bathroom had no privacy.

The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. We didn't drink at the hotel as the bar was busy on both nights of our stay.

The one good thing was the location, as it was easy to reach the Frankfurt Christmas Markets.

The rooms are clean, but have a rather strange layout which means it is quite a detour to get to the bothroom. The hotel rooms and corridor feel a little tired, but the place is clean.

What makes all the difference is the stunning views. From your room and the breakfast area too. Reception is on the 22nd floor and you take this glass elevator to get there, which is really nice.

The hotel is just a stone's throw from the subway, which takes you all the way to/from the airport in about 15-20mins for EUR 5.80.

Overall a great choice if you're staying in the area.

I agree with some of the previous comments about this hotel. I chose this hotel mainly because of the view and the location, and the two elements were definitely good enough to enable a good overall experience. Some hardware issues, reactions, and small things that could have been made the guest much more delightful were questionably lacking.
1. Two of the lamps in the suite were out and I reported that to the front desk. There was no report on updates although I think the bulb replacement could have been done quite immediately or at least the progress could have been reported to the guest. I might have had to expect slower reaction speed in hearing about how the hotel handled this kind of issue.
2. During the check-in, information about wi-fi in the suite could have been told to the guest. I think that was a very easy procedure to avoid the guest's additional phone call to the reception desk.
3. On the second day, the coffee capsule could have been refilled. I think this 1-Euro thing could have delighted the guest who spent 200+ Euros per day for a stay.
4. The rainshower section needed some improvement. (It was extremely hard to adjust the water temperature.)
It also would be nice to inform the guest of the type of lights/blinds available in the room. I needed some time to fully aware of the switches for the lights and the blinds.
Despite this, I appreciate the overall kindness of the staff and the stay.

For me, this is a real disgrace. On the instructions of the hotel manager, the hotel charges us €70 per night for our little handbag poodle (2.5 kg toy poodle), which neither makes a mess nor sheds hair. We made it clear that we had everything we needed for the dog, so we didn't need a bed, bowl(s), food, etc. We have never paid that much anywhere before, up to now a maximum of €40 per night. I call this "outrageous rip-off".

I've stayed in a bunch of hotels, and this is in the bottom 10% for the price. It's in a mixed-use (mostly office) building, and appears to be more apartment-style than hotel, although there is a staffed front desk. It could be good, but isn't -- maybe 2.5/5, but for the price and all the other good to very good options in Frankfurt, it's a 2/5.

The good: nice building, pretty views from windows and especially from the circular glass elevators at the corner of the building. There is a "kitchen" in each room (I think; at least in mine) with a daily-stocked minibar with 2 waters, 2 beers, and 3 fritz cola sodas. I got a room on the 29th floor.

The bad: basically everything else. I can't tell if these were cheap/badly done residential conversions of offices, or weird hotel conversions of apartments, or just dumb German design or form over function, but nothing actually works well.
1) There's a kitchen area, and a coffeemaker and tea kettle, but no power sockets in the kitchen area. I had to take the tea kettle into the bathroom and run it there.
2) Housekeeping uses the "big refillable bottles", and filled the soap and moisturizer bottles with moisturizer. There is no soap. Fortunately I'd brought bar soap from other hotels.
3) Internet is horrible -- 8mbps x 3mbps with dropouts every hour or two. Password is a random username and password, rather than normal room number/last name, so logging in each time is also a pain if you didn't write it down. Cellular would be faster except that on the 29th floor of a tall building, coverage is intermittent too.
4) Room given didn't match photos or description on booking website, but I'm not sure if that's the fault of the hotel or the booking website.
5) Shower is truly mediocre to bad. Has almost no water pressure for *cold* water, only hot water, and two separate knobs vs a mixer tap. Turning the hot water knob slightly (it sticks) goes from too-cold to burning-hot.
6) Shower is actually tiny relative to overall size of room; room layout overall is bad due to design choices (wedge shaped), so there's a lot of wasted space. The toilet is across the hallway from the shower room (common in Germany I guess), but there's also a closet off the bedroom which is basically useless.
7) Loud in-room refrigerator; wouldn't complain about this except for all the other problems.
8) Housekeeping does the minimum to clean room; requested change of sheets, not done, etc.

They have got this panoramic view, but everything else is a nightmare. The room was dirty, with dust all over the place; but this is not the worst part. When showering, one could literally smell sewage. But then, I found out that toilets are clogged, so I wonder how much filth comes into the shower. Moreover, most of the bulbs either missing or not working and the coffee machine was not functional.
I tried to call reception but they do not anwser, either using the room phone or even using the external line in via mobile, so I had to come down to complain, just to discover how rude and unhelpful the staff are. I explained it all to this guy in reception and told him that I will be complaining, but his words were: "just write that I am the worst person in the world". I don't know if he finds that amusing, but I suppose I can share his wish with the world.
The thing is that the world doesn't really care about him. People only care about sleeping in a clean room help when things go wrong; not showering in the filth again and actually not even taking the risk of ending up in the filth in the first place. So, there is the view but a hotel is not about the view. This place is very badly maintained (and the staff seem to be having a laugh about it) and that is real shame.

We were supposed to stay here for one night. It was supposed to be one of the nicer hotels we booked for our trip in germany. Sadly, the day we were supposed to arrive in Frankfurt, we got stuck in Munich in a snowstorm that blocked all roads, trains and the airport and even though we had train tickets we couldn't go.

We called and sent the hotel an email expressing and stressing the fact we were stranded in Munich, and we couldn't arrive that day, asking for a waiver on the 90% cancellation fee, but they refused. We even asked for a chance to postpone the stay, as we knew we would get to frankfurt once the trains will be back, but they had no interest in rebooking or helping in any way, no flexibility what-so-ever. This of course is on top of the 1) the train ticket for a train that was canceled, 2) a last minute hotel in Munich we had to book 3) the cost of changing our flight.

The representatives in the hotel office were rude, unhelpful, and had no desire to be helpful. I would avoid booking with such a hotel, cause once you run into some trouble, they are not likely to accomodate or try to help...

I have never been treated so rudely and unfriendly in a hotel as I was today, August 21, 2023. Despite the fact that the company had confirmed that the costs would be covered, the employee insisted on a credit card - in a manner that was completely unfriendly to customers - and refused to give me the room without one. After a long discussion with the supervisor, the cost coverage was accepted. The shower has also seen better days.

My stay at Innside Melia Frankfurt was adequate, the staff tried to be kind. Reasonable location, comfortable bed. Cheap breakfast ingredients. I am most irritated by the fact that the security deposit on my room has still not been released notwithstanding I received no additional services and checked out some days ago. The Hotel is not responding to my request for confirmation that the deposit has been voided.

The view is inspiring and enchants you in the sea of lights in the evening.

Very high security standards and spacious suites.

Negative points:
The underground car park is very narrow and overpriced. Better to park in the public car park
(100 m away)!

Breakfast is OK, but there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of quality.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but a small selection of drinks in the minibar free of charge.

No instructions on the technology in the room.
