Named after Louise Rothschild, whose family’s financial empire famously began in Frankfurt, Ruby Louise blends 19th-century elegance with edgy urban accents. Like all great pioneers, there was more to Louise than met the eye. Born into a wealthy family, she could happily have lived a life of quiet luxury. Instead, she set her mind to social change, and the city’s still dotted with buildings that bear her name. Taking the lead from her genteel grit, we’ve combined the clean lines and soft curves of Biedermeier design with graffiti and modern art to create a true Mainhattan mood. The bar menu offers a similar contrast of classic cocktails and signature originals, along with tasty Italian-inspired snacks. For a sundowner, the Skybar is hard to beat. Our spacious terrace on the 6th floor is a soothing spot to raise a glass to the hustle and bustle below. And in the morning, a healthy breakfast and barista coffee will set you up to hit the city again. Each room has been designed in our unique Lean Luxury style, with a big, comfy bed, a rainfall shower and soft, fluffy towels. Rich, dark wood panelling and elegant mouldings are brought up to date with street art and a Marshall amp. Frankfurt’s fashion district is right on the doorstep, while the old town and business district are both within easy strolling distance. Hauptwache station is a five-minute walk away, from where the airport’s around 15 minutes by S-Bahn.

I am a little surprised by negative reviews. My check-in was super easy and the gentleman at the bar who helped me was very friendly. The room itself was great, very comfortable, all the necessities, and very clean. I loved the style of the entire facility as it's different than your regular hotel. I really enjoyed the rooftop bar and spent most of my night there, had dinner, and enjoyed the views and drinks. The staff was very friendly up there, checked on me if needed, and responded quickly to any request. The location is great but my GPS had me going in circles due to some road closures the day of my arrival. No complaint to the hotel but just map ahead where you want to park and save yourself some headache. Overall I plan to stay here when I return to Frankfurt. It's a great spot, nice people, clean, great vibe, and just super easy to stay at.

- waited ages to check in on the upad system but it failed so had to check in manually after all - the loft rooms are the same as the cheapest rooms so no point spending more on a room - the breakfast is the biggest joke of all all just bread, cheese, salad and water to choose from. most Hostels have better breakfasts than this without even trying. I woke up needed a juice and there was none. The rooms have no minibar or even a phone to order room service from so when your breakfast is this bad it shows. - male member of staff in reception is rude as hell and needs some customer service training - the girls who work behind reception are professional and nice.

Not only because of the served 'Mujito'. 25 min waiting to take an order from a waiter who got probably a bad day. The reception a fiasco as it took to the receptionist 10 minutes to understand that we didn't want to book a room but just have a drink. The view from the roof is just ugly, our table was a front of a machines room from another building.

Friends took us to the bar (which in itself is very nice). The four of us wanted to relax and have a drink. The terrace was full, so they sent us up to the gallery. I specifically asked if that was OK and made sure they would service us upstairs. Naturally, the bar maid replied. More than 20 minutes later still nothing had happened, and when I inquired to learn the problem her colleague gave me the lip, bitched about us sitting upstairs, and told me that it will probably take quite a while. On my way back upstairs, the 3rd colleague very not friendly told me to take the other route around the bar. Well, I did, picked up my friends, and we left. Do not go here, the service is terrible. And the view from the terrace is not nearly as nice as the one from the other place with the terrace by the Eschenheimer Tor. We are heading there now …
