(July 2023) The hotel is clean and the service is good: the only precaution is that if you want the daily cleaning of the room you must expressly choose it (they adopt a policy of donations to charity in case of cancellation of cleaning). Probably my mediocre knowledge of English did not make me understand this aspect. In any case, after the first night I reported the need at the reception and the service was rendered without problems).
It would be to improve the response to requests that are made when booking: I had asked for a room on a high floor and not overlooking the main street. I was allocated a room (no. 130) on the first floor overlooking the street. The soundproofing of the rooms is excellent but I do not understand why (being free rooms on the fourth floor) the request was not met. In the assigned room there was an annoying noise heard the first night (at first I thought it came from the air conditioning, but also turned off the air, the annoying background noise continued: the next day the very kind receptionist verified that the noise came from the air circulation). Being sensitive to noise, from the second night I was assigned a room (no. 428) on the fourth floor and finally found peace. So, rooms on the upper floors were there ... it takes little to please the customer. In any case I really appreciated this attention to the customer.
Room: very cozy, with small but clean bathroom and comfortable shower. There is carpeting, but it is well maintained: no allergy problems.
Location – The hotel is less than ten minutes walk from the central station: the station area is populated by drifters, beggars, drunks and drug addicts. The hotel street, however, is probably the quietest in the area and I had no problems. Convenient proximity to the center and the station from which to take all means (trains and metro).
PS: for nice photos of the skyline I suggest heading towards the bridge on the right as you leave the hotel: it is another perspective than the classic one of the Alte Brucke which you can reach by walking on that bank and enjoying interesting views (from the street level or, better yet, from the walk below at river level).

Former Holiday Inn converted into Premier Inn chain with some renovations. Location in 10 mins walking distance to the main train station but on the 'good' side of the city, so felt pretty safe around there. Lot's of mediterranean restaurants and other good food options around, streets were clean compared to the ones north of Kaiserstrasse.
Air-condition was a bit slow (and not turned on when we got into the room) so it took a while to get the room to a comfortable temp. Room was pretty standard otherwise. A good option for a stay in Frankfurt.

This German Premier Inn is better than the UK versions. In fact, it did not feel “budget” at all, apart from the fact that it only serves very limited evening food (just 24 hour Pizza). However, it does have an a more extensive buffet breakfast than the UK version and an attractive bar area which is open 24 hours.
The room was similar to the UK version, with a great bed/pillows. However, the small wardrobe had a door (there was little other storage space, no phone, no safe) but you get a hair-dryer, air-con, kettle and TV.
The bathroom/shower was much more upmarket, than in our Premier Inns. The multi-lingual staff were friendly and professional, including Vanessa, Nadi and Usamah. They all deserve a pay rise! (For the extremely knowledgeable and helpful Vanessa: the history museum was very good and your recommended German restaurant, ‘Paulaner, was excellent).
Sadly, Frankfurt, like many of the worlds cities today have a "dark side". The hotel is just ten minutes’ walk from the main station (ideal for the airport), but unfortunately you pass through a migrant ghetto, with many homeless people on drugs and even a lap dancing club. However, if you walk in the other direction to the river Main (the hotel is just five mins away from where river boats dock) and towards the old town and shopping centre. Things feel much safer.

The hotel's slogan "everything premium except the price" is a farce. I had booked a double room for single use of 19 square meters. I got a tiny double room of 12 square meters, which would have been too small for two people to stay in. The space between the bed and the desk was so narrow that you couldn't even push a medium-sized suitcase through; you had to lift it over the bed. For a price of more than 200 euros per night, I also expect a small refrigerator in the room to cool my water for the night. There isn't even a phone in the room to call reception; if something is missing or you need something, you have to run down there or find the phone number and call on your cell phone. The sink in the bathroom is set higher than average and is therefore unsuitable for people who are 1.60 m or shorter. I was supposed to get the bill automatically by email after I left. Unfortunately, it hasn't arrived yet. The staff are very friendly, the shower is big, the bed is very good. It's great that you can donate the room cleaning to children in need. If you're a light sleeper or want to sleep with the windows open in the summer, you should definitely get a room at the back and not facing the street, as the noise level increases significantly there from 6 a.m.

Hotels in this network are well standardized. I stayed in Cologne and Frankfurt, I even get confused sometimes which is which. The bed, sheets and bed pillow of the couple were very comfortable. My children did not like their bed, as it was a sofa bed harder and narrower than the double bed. Suitable bathroom with good shower and toiletries included. The arrangement was only on request, this seems to be a trend in various locations. We chose to pay for breakfast, which was the same every day, eggs, bacon, bread, yogurts, cereals, coffee, milk, juices and etc. I found the price high, but as the children did not pay, it compensated by the fact that we were in a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The location of the hotel served us well, close to the central station and the center. We did almost everything on foot.

My husband and I stayed at the Premier Inn Frankurt City Centre Hotel last night, and it was a wonderful experience! We just checked out, and conclude that our stay was worthy of a 10/10 rating.
Although parking was not included, we found the 15 euro charge to be reasonable. After parking our vehicle in the garage behind the hotel, and buzzing ourselves into the main lobby, the firt thing we noticed was how lovely the hotel smelled. Very refreshing and inviting smell, with a tinge of citrus. Loved the scent! A very courteous gentleman helped us check in, and we promptly checked out our room before heading to the Christmas Market.
The room was extremely clean, and was designed in a modern way. We especially loved the black light strip added to the back of the headboard which made everything glow in the dark once all other lights were turned off. Very cool! The bed was comfortable, and we had a restful evening.
In the morning, before checking out, my husband and I smelled the breakfast which was drool-worthy, and were saddened that we had to leave so early for our next destination. An extremely kind lady with brown hair helped us check out. She was very kind, courteous, and helpful. She also gifted us two packets of Haribo candies as a parting gift.
Will most definitely return to the Premiere Inn Frankurt City Centre Hotel in the future!

The staff were really welcoming and friendly. It makes a great first impression and the hotel lobby was bright and decorated with a Christmas tree. We had arrived prior to check-in and they were happy to store our suitcase so we could go and explore the city. We had a room on the second floor which is accessible by lift or by stairs. The security doors to the corridors need your key card to open and are very heavy which gave a very secure feeling. The room was nicely presented, very clean and I liked the black out curtains as well as the different lighting options available. The purple lighting was nice for watching TV in the evening as it wasn't too bright. The bathroom was pleasant and they supply Baylis and Harding toiletries. The only thing was the shower head kept turning to face the wall but you could detach it and hold it yourself so not too much of an issue. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the main railway station. Some people have said it is not a welcoming area but we found it no different to anywhere near a major rail station in Europe. If you come out the hotel and turn right instead of left (so away from the tram lines) there is an alternative route back towards the station which is quieter. The trams run frequently to the city center and the stop is a couple of minutes away. We didn't eat at the hotel but the menu looked quite good and the seating area was very warm and welcoming.

Nice usual premier inn standard, check in was very average and not very welcoming. Room was nice, clean and well serviced and Wi-Fi good….,,HOWEVER to get to the hotel from the train station (which most tourists have to) is NOT safe, the areas and streets around the hotel are NOT safe and are full of homeless drunks and drugged up people and it does not feel safe staying in this particular area, whenever you leave the hotel you must be VERY careful. If you do stay here then be sure to ask for a room not facing the street as the nighttime noise is very loud.

Less than a ten minute walk from Frankfurt main station - but be warned. Frankfurt station is surrounded by crowds of drunks, druggies and homeless and far worse than anything I have witnessed in all my years of travel. It really distressed the teenage daughter who frankly wasn't prepared to see a man walking about with a needle hanging out of his arm. It was quite intimidating.
We chose Premier Inn because you are guaranteed a standard of accommodation and we were not disappointed. The hotel was immaculately clean, warm and friendly. Breakfast was well cooked, presented and lots of choice from cereals, bread to cooked options. The rooms were also immaculately clean, and simply laid out. Our first room had a problem with the heating and so at 11pm, without fuss and lots of apologies from the team, we were moved to a different room. the double/king sized bed was really comfy - but the sofa bed was as hard as a rock (no mattress or padding) and the teenager didn't sleep as it was very uncomfortable. Maybe ok for smaller, lighter children, but torture for anyone heavier.
The building is very solid so there were no creaking floors, you couldn't hear your neighbours and all in all very quiet and peaceful.
I have to say the team were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful, had good local knowledge and made us feel very welcome. It is often a hard thing to do in such a small hotel where folk come and go so quickly, but this team managed it. A very big thank you to Susan who checked us in and averted my mini-breakdown at the prospect of a freezing room.

After Aer Lingus cancelled our Friday afternoon flight at very short notice, we ended up having only a one night stay here. The hotel were very understanding and helpful when contacted. they book baggage for us when we arrived mid morning. The location is convenient for the main train station and just far enough away to be removed from the anti social activity on the streets neater to it. A good choice for a short stay...
