Tip: if getting an Uber/taxi to the airport, walk over to the JW Marriott for a pickup since vehicles cannot reach the entrance of Moxy. Might be difficult for people with mobility issues. I’d choose another hotel if mobility is a concern.
Breakfast, limited but still got gluten free bread.
But why I still will get back there...
Location: As we visited a trade fair in Frankfurt, the hotel is just minutes walk away from the main train station, so really easy to commute to the fairs.
After the fairs it was easy to just walk to shopping streets and there were great restaurant nearby, Eschenheimer turm.
Price: Very reasonable and that is why I overlook those things I am not too happy. As always when there are fairs, hotels prices rise up, so this was reasonable and still easy to get to fairs.

The unplastered concrete is supposed to look modern, the lockers replace the luggage drop-off at reception, the floor in the elevator imitates a broken road surface. To me it just looks unfinished, not modern but cheap.
The room also reminds you of a construction site with a wire frame, holes in the walls and ceiling, a small bathroom and a cheap metal table on the wall that you put up yourself.
No service is offered at breakfast either, but in addition to poor quality (coffee, orange juice, fruit) you also have to clear away yourself... the only thing missing is that the table also has to be cleaned.
The price is high, however, and is for a "service" hotel.
I am not convinced by the hostel concept.

We booked a room 5 months before, payed for it and in the day of our arrival just informed our travel agency that they overbooked the hotel and our room is no longer available. They also informed the agency that they gave us a room in a hotel that is not in the city center (one of the reason we booked the hotel is the location).
I'm wondering: the hotel did this because we are Romanians? Just asking..

The rooms are also very trendy with very creative lighting that gives the room a nice "mood" or atmosphere. There is a portable table that can be used as a desk for a small laptop but this was the only negative about the room. Please look at all the pictures of the rooms and lobby as they tell the story better without words.
The location is also exception - just a few steps from the main pedestrian area, yet very, very quiet. Lots of good restaurants also steps away from the hotel. Also a very easy distance from the S/U Hauptwache which links you to either the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) or the Frankfurt airport without the need to change trains.
I tried to contact the hotel directly before my arrival as my flights had been severely delayed and despite being on hold from North America, no one ever did answer the phone - I was placed on a forever hold for more than an hour that pushed me past the deadline for making a change to the reservation. I did explain my circumstance on the standard Marriott feedback form but have yet to hear from anyone.
The hotel has a funky theme to it, and a bit of a party vibe. You check in at the bar area, and are offered a welcome drink which was nice.
The room is a decent size by European standards, with all the basics and a nice shower. There are separate rooms for ironing if needed.
I did not try the local restaurant as there are many great places to eat within easy walking distance.
If you're looking for a decent though basic room in a great location at a good price, check this place out.
