Hotel was modern and clean, asked for an early check for 12pm which was approved but when we arrived we were told we could not check in until 2.30 - 3pm. Shower was broken and the shower head would not stay in place and ended up hitting me in the head a couple of times. Fresh towels were given the second day but nobody bothered to give fresh towels on the third day. Biggest issue was that I was charged twice for my stay. Once upon check in and again on check out. Disputing this at the moment but please beware and make sure to keep an eye on your bank account after checking out!
This hotel is clean and modern, in a very convenient location just a few steps from the Ostbahnhof U-Bahn Station. Easy access to Frankfurt Airport and downtown. Breakfast selection was outstanding. There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as services (pharmacy, laundromat) in case you need them. Rooms facing the back of the hotel can be loud during the night due to freight trains, if you’re a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs.
The hotel is modern, near the river and the European Central Bank. The area is quiet, next to the hotel is the East Railway Station of Frankfurt, but in the night nobody is out there and this can cause you a bit of fear. The reception was OK. The rooms have a good space and are air-conditioned. The bathroom was OK. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast (included in the price) was very good indeed; the scrambled eggs were the best I have eaten at a hotel, the high class bacon chip-roasted, real juice (not powder), big buffet. The hotel has a parking in the basement (15 Euros/night). The only thing that I did not liked, was the blanket, as it was very heavy; I should prefer something lighter in weight. The price was about 85 Euros per night for the double room, very good price for a 3-stars hotel in Germany.…
Close to the airport, clean room, tasty breakfast Not that many facilities however the place is ideal if you are between flights Réception is a bit poor, there was only one employee for all guests and there was no room service
After a long flight from Central America, I was looking forward to a nice bed - A very simple request from a hotel, which Hampton was not possible to accommodate and handled it in a terrible matter. After arriving at the hotel from the airport, the front office told me that they have decided to place me in their other hotel at the airport. I mentioned me discomfort with this, especially because I have just traveled with 2 suitcases from the airport to the hotel and their response was "We just decided this 30 minutes ago" They did offer a taxi to the other hotel, but I had a appointment directly next door the following morning, so i kindly requested a taxi back to the hotel next morning, which they denied. Not keen on spending the day and night in the airport far away, i asked to be placed in their other hotel in the city center, which they also denied because it was a little more expensive. The Manager on duty was in general a little rude and not at all interested in finding a solution to us - I asked if she or i could talk to the Hotel Manager to see if he would allow the other hotel or the taxi back but i got the answer that "We dont have a Hotel Manager", i asked for Regional Manager - She answered "We dont have a Regional Manager" - Only after stating that there must be a superior Manager, she reluctantly gave me a mail-address, but wouldn't call him or give me his number. I asked for my money back, which she agreed to, and I had to look for another hotel close by. SO FAR I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND OF 100 USD!…
