The 25hours Hotel The Trip has been lauded for its stylish vibe and impeccable cleanliness, with its convenient location near the main train station being a highlight for guests. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the area's safety and the hotel's value for money, citing high prices and a lack of amenities.
While the rooms are generally appreciated for their comfort and style, there are occasional complaints about their size and noise levels. The service receives positive mentions, though a few travelers have encountered issues with efficiency.

Let me start with good things. The ambience was different and not like a typical hotel which I liked, and the room was also good. The beds were comfy and even better was the minibar was free, though I did not use it fully. I forgot my cap and housekeeping safely collected it and it was handed over to me later when I returned for collection. The bathrooms/toilets were neat and clean. A dental kit and shaving kit were available on request. Overall a good opinion except for a few things mentioned below.
The breakfast menu/choice was not so great, fruits in the fruit basket were rotten. It is obvious that the tables are used by people one after the other but if the tables were cleaned after every use it would not be such an obvious feeling. The check-in could be better, it took me around 10 minutes to get checked in, however, the front office staff is quite courteous and welcoming.
It would have been a 5-star rating if such issues were not encountered.

A fantastic hotel with a really cool vibe - this is the second time I've stayed here and although the area surrounding it is not the most welcoming, once you're cocooned inside, it has a great atmosphere. Bar Shuka and Shuka Bar are outstanding, service is to be expected in such a busy venue; not as quick as you might hope, but, with such heavy footfall it boils down to impatience rather than staff inability or laziness. The team in the property are exceptional without exception and I am already looking to book again.

Yet located in a hot area to say the least, this hotel is great: original, comfortable rooms, perfect bedding, the sauna on the roof open to all travelers and free is just perfect. The windows are well soundproofed, so you don't hear much outside noise. And Karyna and Catanya, the two people at reception, are wonderful. Well done and thank you

This hotel is lovely, but there's a few little niggles that stop it being truly 5*, but too good to be 4*. Negatives first: restaurant and bar are closed on a Monday evening but there's no information in the room telling you this; in addition you still have to give an extra 50€ a night for extras with nowhere to spend them. The hotel doesn't offer complimentary tea or coffee in the room or the libby; if you ask for coffee in the morning they send you to the restaurant that charges you for it. Positives: the staff we came across mainly were Karyna and Michelle and both were absolutely lovely - very helpful, warm and personable. The videos behind reception was a really nice touch; rather sobering. The hotel is beautiful and the design is amazing.

We know the 25hours in Munich and both 25hours in Hamburg and are absolutely delighted with the three hotels. We wanted to attend an event at the Festhalle Frankfurt and booked this hotel based on our good experiences with the other 25hours hotels and the proximity to the Festhalle. We arrived by train and walked to the hotel. Even the walk there was extremely unpleasant. There were people loitering on the sidewalks everywhere, there were bottles and rubbish on the ground and it stank terribly of urine. When we entered the hotel we were shocked at how dark the entrance area was. The receptionist asked me what I wanted. When I answered: I would like to check in, she replied very rudely: none of the rooms are clean yet. That was it for now. No warm welcome, no question about my name, nothing. We then left our suitcases for storage and wanted to go into town. On the way there we became aware of what a terrible area the hotel was in, so we turned around, cancelled the booking and booked another Accor hotel. I can't recommend the 25hours The Trip to anyone. It's not suitable at all for women travelling alone. I'm extremely disappointed!

The area is terrible. You reach the hotel making your way through dozens of homeless, junkies and aggressive drunks. It is certainly not the fault of the hotel, we would miss it, but it should be noted. I would have invested more in double glazing, to avoid unfortunate guests sleepless nights, due to the room below, with techno music ball until morning. And I would also invest in staff training, to have a simple coffee in human times. Less decoration, delicious for goodness sake, but more comfort and attention to guests, since it is certainly not cheap, did not hurt, and maybe I would have gone back.

The hotel itself is awesome. Traveling as small family with a 2 year old and another friend isn't always easy to find the balance of places to stay but when it comes to the interior of this place, it's very cool. There were plenty of visually stimulating things for the little one both in the common areas and room. The rooms were funky, cool, and comfortable. Here's the disconnect...the location is equally fantastic as it's so close to the train station and tragic as it's so close to the train station. The streets surrounding the hotel as others have said are exactly as they complain about. They're riddled with uncomfortable sights. None of this is the hotels fault nor is it very much in their control. The other problem is something that most people wouldn't recognize unless they're part of the the rewards program that 25hours is now under called ALL. If you're not an ALL member, you won't have to worry about it. The staff at check-in had little understanding of the loyalty program and the restaurant staff didn't either and acted as if the two entities were completely separate during on breakfast when I asked him to put the charges on the room. All charges at the hotel can earn reward and status points so this can make a difference in changing levels, which if you're a points person, you wanna do. I did have a request by email and that correspondence was fantastic. It's funny because value for price, this place is good, but I wouldn't travel here with my wife and young daughter again, but I would stay here on a quick business trip and I need to be by the train station or a weekend with the lads.

Dear Joshua Thank you so much for your review. We really appreciate it and the time you've spent writing it. It is great to hear that our coloful hotel left such a nice impression with you, but unfortunately, that the area messed that up. As the oasis in the Bahnhofsviertel we give 125% to create a wonderful stay to our guests and are happy, that you realized, that our hands are bound in this case. I as well understand that earning points is a very valueable issue for Accor Members and have to apologies, not every charges are rewardable in our hotel, because of the external restaurant owner. We hope we can welcome you back here for a quick business trip. Until then, all the best Rachid // Front Desk

Unfortunately our stay was a complete chaos and I would never-ever recommend this hotel to anyone! We got a noisy room, had to switch in the middle of the night around 12 pm. The newcomer receptionist forgot to tell us that room 112 was exactly above the disco of the hotel where a party was being held till 3 am in the morning…. The payment also went wrong….terrible! I asked the receptionist, who has been working there only for three weeks, to make us pay at the time of check-in for the entire stay. I paid, and the next day I had to find out that he didn’t make us pay for the entire stay but for only one night, despite the fact that he had checked TWICE in the computer if we had paid for both nights. The breakfast system is also quite interesting ‘cause you have to order everything on a menu and not take your stuff from a buffet. I am not against this but it’s not the system that I am used to…it’s a bit time consuming, I think, and if you are in a hurry it’s inconvenient. Oh, and the air conditioning in our new room 517 was also not working well. It felt like…the air conditioner was literally impotent! The neighborhood of the hotel was terrible but this is normal in Frankfurt and don’t be surprised if you find drug dealers and drunken people in front of your hotel entrance, this is absolutely normal. The deposit of €50 was also a strange thing to me. If you don’t trust your people please don’t leave valuable stuff in the rooms it’s just so cheesy…to ask for a deposit, come on! We are in the 21st century… Possibly stay away from this place! ;)

Loved the decor of this hotel. Vibrant, colourful, and pleasing to the eye. It has a seating area inside and outside which is nice. To get to the rooms you have to scan your key card - the surrounding streets leading to the hotel are not the best so this adds a level of security. The young lady on the front desk was friendly and kind. We checked in early which was great. The room I stayed in was cosy and comfortable. I had a little balcony with a deck chair but as it was snowing, I didn't get to use it. The shower was nice and hot, but I would have liked more water pressure. All in all a decent stay

Hello Carol
Yes, you have to take the bus to Frankfurt Central Station. Airport Frankfurt/Hahn is not directly located next to Frankfurt City.

Hello Goldrush216
You can take the S8 from the airport heading to Frankfurt Central Station. Exit the train at Central station and use the exit Poststrasse. Then you can easily cross the Düsseldorfer Strasse and turn into the Niddastrasse (There is a passage on the right side of the street). Traveltime from the airport to the hotel is approx 35min.
Please let me know, if we can help you with anything else.

Hello karolina p
We offer 8 parking spaces in the courtyard (EUR 15,00 per day), alternatively a parking garage is located at the main railway station in close proximity. Since the area around the central station is very popular, crowded and sometimes notorious, we always recommend to use a secure parking lot.
Best regards
