Not great for tents but we really liked it for our motorhome. Bit pricy when you added it all up but it is almost in the middle of Hamburg so can't complain. Surprisingly quiet bearing in mind it's just off a main road. Cheap diesel across the road and Lidl a short walk away. Used the family bus and tram...

Stayed here twice in 2015- Spring and Autumn. The location is great for small motorhomes. Bus-stop just a few meters outside of the campsite. Clean, free showers with hot water, freshly baked bread in the mornings can be ordered at the reception. Perfect place to come home to after exploring the city. Price is fair. Will stay here again.

I notice many moans about this place and agree the staff need to complete their customer care course but to be fair it's good for what it is. It's right on the edge if town; it's not the sort of place you'd spend more than a night or two and the amenities work just fine. You can't pitch a tent...

Please do not go here if you are camping. This is NOT a camp site. The site is a small area off a busy 5-lane road that is designed to take camper vans. If you have a tent, they will take your money and stick you in a very cramped space (designed for camper vans) where the ground is filled...

This is a great little camping ground, although I'm not sure if you can camp there in tents as it mainly just looked like for caravans and campervans. The owner was really lovely, provided us with loads of information on Hamburg etc The campsite is close to the centre and easy enough to reach via bus and train. The pitches...

After we took over our rented mobile home in Hamburg, we spent the first night in Buchholz. Good, safe location for a visit to the City, but not the romantic spot for a two week vacation. It IS possible to get in those parking places. Friendly tenant, helped us park our rv in the narrow spot.

We arrived late while on a cycling holiday. Although the campsite is gravel it is fine for a tent that can get away with few or no pegs (we guyed our tent onto the bikes). The owner squeezed us in as it was fully booked. They also helped us with getting around and printing off train tickets. The shower was...

try to avoid this place.Unfriendly , small and untidy grounds and electricity restricted. The restaurants for a description is small , unfriendly . The only favour I can give is that it was better than the terrible campervan park in Munich. I needed a special lwnght of electricity cable to connect my van. The fitting s were different. When I...

Location - great.. But this is NOT a campsite! At best, this is a caravan park. Ok if you must camp close to Hamburg city centre, otherwise pay a few quid extra for a Hostel. There is NO grass, camping lots are caravan bays with stone/gravel!!!

This campsite may be the worst in the world.... We were only staying for the one night, How bad can it be for one night? Well for a start if you are in a tent THERE IS NO GRASS! so don't expect to be able to use your ropes and pegs which mine needed to stay up. There is only...
