• Clean • Quiet • Easy to find and with a Tram in front of it • Coffee was drinkable, but it could not be paid by card • WiFi worked but difficult to access • Hot water, but it took long • Service was ok, but not friendly enough • Cleaning person knocked the door at 8am. Twice.

This hotel is clean, spacious and reasonably priced but relatively far from the center of Potsdam (about 15 min by car). Our room was just above the restaurant and we could hear people talking below till very late. Also, with the windows open, the cigarette smoke from the restaurant terrace wafted in. As others have commented, good place to break journey if needed.

Spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff. Ok for a budget stay of a few days, but no air conditioning for the summer months. The Wi-Fi is free and fairly quick, but overly complicated to use. There is easy access to the public transport system and bicycle rental. A medium sized shopping mall is 5 minute's walk away.

I was visiting Berlin on business, at an exhibition, so wanted a comfy, more homely hotel, with good food and a clean nice room. I found all i was looking for and more, and when I read the reviews I was shocked. The rooms were clean and spacious, not in need of renovation (there were 3 of us staying, so we saw more than one). The breakfast room and choice were good and a nice start to the day, relaxed and roomy. The meal at night was much better than your average hotel, and we ate there 3 times, the food was excellent and again the service was very good. If I were to criticise it would be the distance from Berlin centre if you need to be there each day, but that was my fault, not theirs, and the cost of the stay was very reasonable. I recommend this hotel to all.
