I stayed at the Titanic Chaussee hotel again after a long time. The hotel is easily accessible directly at the subway stop. My room was large and quality equipped, it was very quiet to the courtyard, the sanitary area with the very high quality and large shower cubicle with glass sliding door is great. Little note: Hotel guests are also getting older, a grab rail in the shower cabin would be nice. All service staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in its variety, especially with the hot food is fantastic and unparalleled. Overall unreservedly recommended.

A really nice house in a great location. a few steps to the U6, opposite is a beer garden and in the hotel there are also several restaurants. Underground parking costs 25€ for 24 h, so it is best to leave the car in, buy a small group ticket from the BVG and can travel around Berlin for a day.
Rooms are large with large bathroom, although facing street absolutely quiet.
The breakfast buffet was the most extensive we have experienced so far, on request egg dishes etc are freshly prepared right there.
Given the reasonable price 5 stars for everything.

Nice room, good cleaning, very good breakfast and restaurant at the hotel. The location was very central, about 1 min walk to the metro and many restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity. Can highly recommend this hotel, would definitely stay here again if we are going to Berlin several times!

Was on a business trip and stayed here for the 1st time. Arrived at the hotel around noon and saw a lot of people queuing up at the reception counter and there were only to women manning the counter, so the queue was moving slowly. Finally I reached the receptionist. As I was exhausted I wanted to try and see if they would give me an early checkin ( I didn’t expect to be given but no harm trying) I asked the receptionist can I checkin and she rudely said ‘no’. I was shocked. I understand it’s a busy morning but no reason to be rude. I said excuse me, she said come back at 3pm. That was a terrible experience to start and I expected the hotel to be terrible. But besides the interaction with the receptionist it was quite good. The lobby I felt was small compared to the number of rooms( it’s a huge hotel as eu standards). This made the lobby look crowded always and to make it worse, every single day the hotel had an event. So along with the lobby the bar was full.
The rooms are spotless with very comfortable beds, but for a hotel this size there are no amenities in the bathroom, very basic.
The breakfast had a huge and impressive spread but be prepared to see the same spread everyday. By the time I checked out I was sick of the breakfast.
On the checkout day housekeeping won’t stop knocking even though it’s within the given checkout time. Lack of communication between front deck and housekeeping.
Location of the hotel is great. Short walk to subway and tram stop lots of restaurants nearby.

Providing excellent customer service is our priority, and we regret that this aspect fell short during your check-in process. We will certainly take this into consideration for future improvements in our space management and event scheduling. Regarding the rooms, while we're pleased that you found them clean and comfortable, we understand your concern about the amenities in the bathroom. We'll review this aspect to ensure a more comprehensive offering for our guests' convenience. Regarding the breakfast, we regret that it became repetitive during your stay. It was a last minute trip and I have to say the location is quite practical, easy to reach from Berlin HBF, tram up to 200m from the front door. We arrived late on Sunday (don’t expect much in the way of drinks in the area on a Sunday, I think we were turned down around 8 times in a 2 mile radius). When we got to the room it wasn’t very spacious but the mirrors made it feel more so. There were just a lot of little things wrong, the bedside lamp on my side of the bed was broken. The shaving mirror in the bathroom wasn’t staying up. The hand soap was taken by room service but not replaced. The bed was nice, but not the king we asked for, just two singles pushed together and the crack in the middle.
We’d booked a spa day for the Monday, nice and relaxing. We went down in our easy clothes and got quite an irritable receptionist, because we “weren’t in a robe”. We didn’t have robes in our room, even though we’d booked the spa day in advance. I.s.o, just letting us go in, or giving us robes there, we were sent back to our room to “Wait for Robes”. We received them half an hour later, I think fresh out the dryer because they were still wet, which begs the question wether we didn’t have them because they forgot or they didnt have enough. We were allowed in with the robes but not allowed to use lockers because that was for members only. The spa itself was nice but also limited enough that we didn’t spend more than an hour and a half there.
We spent both the nights getting drinks at the bar, because as much as a lively reputation Berlin has for nightlife, we didn’t get much of it around the hotel. Service was decent, big glasses, not expensive, did take a while.
All and all I’d say my stay was good. Worth the €230 per night? Might have been with a little more attention to detail.

The Titanic Hotel is conveniently located near various hot spots such as the Charité or other event facilities. Lots of guests in the entrance area can sometimes look a bit chaotic, but that is also due to the guests themselves, who then wait in a crowd instead of spreading out or going to their rooms. After the reception, a larger area opens up and you get to the elevators or the restaurant. There was little to criticize about the room, neither upstairs nor downstairs - a typical business room with the well-known choreography.
The food in the evening in the hotel was good, the waiters were often a bit overwhelmed because you didn't know whether they had taken or understood the orders. The solution only came when the drinks arrived.
Depending on what you want or need to do in Berlin, you can definitely recommend the hotel.

This was our second time at Titanic. First time was nice, but this stay was a disaster from first minute. At the start they said I had only booked for only one person, but I did book a double room so they charged us for the second person despite the fact there was a double bed in the room. When we came to the room the A/C was stuck at 21 degrees, and it was very warm outside. We tried everything, and could not fall asleep because of the heat. At 1 am we called reception and it turned out it was broken. So we had to change rooms at 1:30 am and run across the hall in our underwear. The following day we were promised assistance in moving all our stuff to the new room but that person never arrived so we had to do it on our own. In the new room the fridge wasn't working and when I spoke to the reception the man just gaslighted me, told me it turns off when you take the key out of the socket, which is not true as I tried it afterwards. I told him there was no light when I open the door, and he said some fridges don't have light. But he offered to send a maintenance guy who found out the fridge wasn't plugged in. We couldn't even see this ourselves as you had to remove a drawer to see the plug. The only offer from the hotel was one cup of coffee from the bar, not even two for the both of us. Such a negative experience and rude staff except for one very warm employee. Will never stay there again.

Chic and spontaneous! Due to an overbooking in my originally intended hotel, I landed spontaneously at the Titanic Hotel on the day of arrival. Already 10 min after booking I could check in directly. The rooms were fantastic! Nicely decorated and everything top clean! The entrance area was put in the Christmas mood with a beautiful fir tree.

When we arrived, the man at the front desk was very unpleasant and a bit rude. He basically took our payment details and did not say anything about breakfast or any of the other amenities at the hotel. Nothing like the standard information you normally get when you arrive at a hotel.
We got our room keys and went up to our rooms to get ready for the evening. I was greeted by an unemptied bin with the previous guest's tissues in it and in the bathroom the toiletries were already opened and used.
The mini bar was empty and there was no tea or coffee by the kettle. This might not have been as dissapointing if the staff at least had mentioned it.
In the bathroom there were no place to put your things, like a shelf or even a hook, so you had to put your toiletry bag by the kettle in the room or just put your things on the bathroom floor.
The water pressure in the showers was so weak that you kind of had to hug the cold wall to get any water on you. It was the same situation in four different rooms so i'm sure it is a problem in the whole building.
Basically, I feel that they overcharge for what you get and are not very welcoming towards the guests at the front desk.
It looks like it might have been a really nice hotel not so long ago based on older reviews but right now they seem to have lost all passion for the hospitality business and it really reflects on the customer experience.
To add at least one positive thing, the breakfast was all right with a good selection of food and drinks and the host there seemed friendly. The tables are really close to each other though so you should try to go at a time when it's not that busy if you stay there.
I will not be staying there on my next trip to Berlin and i would recommend others to look at other options right now.

Pro: the hotel is very high quality, they offer excellent infusions in the sauna.
Con: the rest! Starting with the fact that the staff had no idea that you can check in online and pay directly there. I did this, but was then asked to pay again when I wanted to check in. After waiting for 1 hour and showing proof of payment on my credit card, I was allowed to go to my room. Here, however, the young man at the reception was very friendly and accommodating. After 2 days, the whole thing was still not recorded in the accounting and I had to pay again when checking out. When I said that I wouldn't pay again, the lady immediately got grumpy... no thank you for the stay, no goodbye, nothing...
We asked in advance whether there were bathrobes and slippers for the spa we had booked. This was confirmed by email - then in the spa: you could only buy slippers, there were no bathrobes.
Late check out booked, but room card blocked from 12pm - meant that we had to go back to the lobby in our (hard-earned) bathrobes, wet, to get a new card... not even an apology from the same rude lady.
You can expect such incompetence in a hostel, but not in a hotel for which you pay €170 a night.
Cocktails are horrendous prices, and are also mixed incorrectly - the basil smash is lime juice with basil (without sugar or seasoning).
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the hotel for these reasons and will spend my next visit to the capital somewhere else.
