Upon arrival, the place looked like it was empty and a little run down. No one was around and no one answering the door or phone calls. It took around an hour to get hold of someone to let me in. The room was lovely,...More
Excellent location near the central station. Very friendly owner. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the double bed that we had booked. Clean but fairly old. The flooring could use an update. A short walk to the canal with a few restaurants in the area. Very quiet...More

Hotel is about a 10 min walk from Berlin Hauptbahnhof train station, great for short visits to Berlin. Service was friendly and helpful, wifi easy to use and fast connection. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet; would recommend!

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
