We stayed here for 3 nights last week. Bang opposite to the Charlottenburg station in Berlin, it is barely 100 meters from the central business district. Almost all the shopping malls are nearby. At the same time, I could also find a good deal of eateries of all tastes. Rooms are cosy, spacious and clean. Breakfast, good enough. It does...

I had a lovely stay here at the Atrium hotel! My two night stay was graced with beautiful Berlin snow and during the time I was here I was warm and comfortable in my little double room, made up of a large double bed and a small wash room. The hotel is perfectly situated very near to Berlin- Charlottenburg S...

The Atrium Hotel in Britain would be considered a two star hotel in terms of facilities. The furnishing in rooms are dated but the rooms themselves are clean and well kept. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. The bathroom is adequate though the water temperature in the shower can be difficult to control. Breakfast is adequate. The...

Spent 2 nights with my family in room for 5 people. Hotel have private parking, and metro/u-bahn station is 300m away. Personal is nice and helpful giving advices for restaurants nearby or choosing some excursions. Breakfast is OK. Area around hotel doesn't look so fancy, especially late night, but there are lot of restaurants, fast food restaurants, groceries, coffee shops.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days in the first week of November. It's very close to Charlottenburg S Bahn station which has great connections to Central Berlin and beyond including a direct link to Schönefeld Airport via the DB RB14 regional train. There's also a U Bahn (Underground) station nearby. If you have a smart phone, I...

A couple given 2 single beds, swapped for a double with 2 single duvets. Breakfast was average. Hotel staff weren't always helpful and it isn't in a great area for restaurant or bars, so bit of travel.

Stayed in this hotel for a week. The room I had was located on the 3rd floor with the courtyard view. The room itself was clean, not really big but I guess pretty much okay for 3* hotel. No bar or water in the rooms, you also have to pay for Wi-Fi (3 euro per day) and safe (not sure...

Room was ok and bed was comfortable. I was really excited with the breakfasts but everything else was not good. Our floor stank and the same problem was in the elevator. We went to this hotel because of wifi but it didn't work even after a lot of discussions with crew. Next to our room was big family( not germans)...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
