I spent 8 nights at Pension Peters in May, 2017. It is perfectly located, only minutes (walking) to public transportation and some of the best restaurants in Berlin! The room was spotless and kept that way during my entire stay. The breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. All the staff were beyond pleasant; welcoming and helpful with plans, dining recommendations...

Great place with lovely staff. The rooms were immaculate, breakfast wonderful location terrific. Easy walk to public transportation and fantastic varied restaurants. If there was any flaw it was that the wifi was not accessible from my room but everything else made up for this.

What a pity, that you got one of our rooms with a not well working wifi. We know that we have some problems in 5 of our 34 rooms. And I promise you now on May 23rd, 2017 (and all readers) that within max 3 month from now we will not have any more problems with our wifi. Thanks for...

This is a perfect place to stay for anyone visiting Berlin. The staff are gracious, helpful and very friendly; our family room was even nicer than the website suggests - huge, warm on a cold spell in Berlin and very comfortable. Breakfast was splendid and - incredibly - free for our 7 and 9 year old sons. It's in a...

Pension Peters in a great location, with wonderful restaurants and coffee within walking distance. It can be a bit loud at night, but that was to be expected as our room was "street-side". Very helpful service.

We arrived after hours and collected the key from the corner bar, as arranged. After a too long day of travel we were a bit directionally challenged and strolled right by both of the two doors our key actually worked in before recognizing our error and finding the way in (either the big brass door next to the pizza place...

I have been wanting to stay here for a while, after reading reviews here and personal recommendations. Let´s say I´m not disappointed. Very friendly staff sets this place appart from other hotels I´ve tried in Berlin (either impersonal large hotels or smaller hotels and pensions where the staff barely speaks english (or German). I was at first a little disappointed...

Really helpful, friendly staff. An old building with a faded elegance but real character, immaculately clean, tasteful decor and design. Nothing pretentious. Comfortable beds and easy chairs, plenty of space, modern en suite shower/ toilet, small unobtrusive TV. The room had a good view of the street and busy square but traffic noise was minimal. Location ideal for local transport,...

Pension Peters was a wonderful place to stay at! The rooms had high ceilings and large windows, the beds were super confortable. We went there as a class for our end of year trip, the staff was friendly and patient. The breakfast was delicious, in general, the atmosphere was very pleasant. The location is also very practical.

My mom and I stayed at the Pension Peters for two nights in December. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions and giving us directions to places we wanted to go to. The breakfast in the morning was large and delicious, our beds were comfortable, and the room was warm and cozy. It is...

We arrived later when the reception is closed but collecting the key from the neighbouring bar was fine. Room functional rather than luxurious and we were around the back. It was quiet and fine. Breakfast very European and fine. I like the fact it is small and has its own quirky character. It is well located near both S bahn...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
