Hotel doesen´t have gym altough it is mentioned in hotel site. Location is near centrum and U Bahn and buss stop in not far. Service was friendly We didn´t have breakfest included the price so we got breakfest for the market located in the same building. In the same street there was kiosk open 24 hours.

This hotel is for the budget minded guest. Its clean, quiet, and relatively, well located. The breakfast buffet is suited to mediterranean taste. however the quality is mediocre. There are no other facilities worth mentioning here.

The location near the Kodamm is the most important issue . it is very simple and basic hotel and definitely not 4 star hotel !! during our stay (4 days) the air conditioner didn't work and it was impossible to sleep with open windows because of the very noisy street. the service was very helpful.

Good location, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, shame not change towels every day, they do not clean the cups (we were five days, and we cleaned the cups). I want to say a big thank's to the manager allowed us a free late-exit(18:00)

The hotel is located close to the Ku-damm, U Bahn, bus and is not far from the airport. The rooms are comfortable, with the only negative being that the breakfast menu was fairly average. Regardless, it was good value for money. There are a number of excellent restaurants close by. Special mention should be made of Aramis Klein on the... More

This hotel was chosen for it's closeness to my meetings. I was very happy with the rooms and the staff were quite helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again. the hotel didn't seem to have too many facilities, but I only really needed the room anyway.

The location of Mercure Hotel Chateau is definitely great for exploring Berlin. It is located 50 m from the busy Kurfürstendamm street, so it is central yet quiet. The Zoologischer Garten train station, which is the starting point for many guided walking tours in Berlin, is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. U-Bahn station, as well as many bus lines,... More

Very pleasant hotel off the Kudamm in Berlin. When we arrived at 10:30 our privilege room was still occupied and Mr. Klein, a friendly and competent receptionist offered us another room for a few hours until our room was ready. In the afternoon we moved to room 413 a very spacious room with balcony. Comfortable beds, hard matrasses, pleasant set... More

Very nice hotel, with unusually big rooms (privilege rooms). Nice with Senseo coffee machine. Extra bed was not so comfortable, so we put the madras on the floor. Will definitely stay here again. Reception desk very helpful.

Check in was fine the member of staff was helpful. Our room was a really good size, clean and quiet. The beds were two twin beds pushed together with separate duvets, which were very thin and meant we both work up cold in the night. The mattresses weren't great and could do with replacing. The bathroom was clean and the... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
