I hope we where unlucky, the hot water pump was broken saturday and the elevator was out order sunday. Result : we had to carry our bagage from 4th floor. When i talked to the receptionist, she was more aware of the poor/misssing communication with her colleague that had not inform her about the problems. No excuses or help from...

I chose this hotel because of its location and for ease of getting to Tegel airport. I believe it's a franchise hotel and has only recently come into the Accor family. The girls on reception were really helpful but sadly not as professional as in other hotels. It's very clean but old fashioned. The bar is in the reception area...

I spent 5 days in Berlin. The hotel is definitely not a 4stars hotel... The location is OK. While I stayed there, a group of Italian kids around 15 yrs were also staying there. They were pretty loud, they were screaming and hitting the walls like animals. Although I informed twice (two different days) to the reception, they just knocked...

Sijainti mainio Kudammin rauhallisella sivukadulla. Great location in a side street of Kudamm. Many good and various restaurants nearby. The superior room upstairs was spacious, there was a balcony, double bed, coffee...

We stayed for 3 nights during new year. The location is pretty good near to the hustle bustle of Kurfuerstendamm shopping streets yet it is offers peaceful and quite sleep. It is located next to Lidl, 24/7 shops and many restaurants (do try Capone Italian). U stations and bus stops are also close by. We did online checkin so upon...

The hotel is very close to the central street , the room is nice ( we didn't come to Berlin to stay in the hotel) there is a super market beneath the hotel so it is very comfortable , the breakfast is European typical .

We arrived at this hotel which was hard to find because it was quite enclosed. We entered and a man gave us our key and we walked up to the lift/elevator, which you had to open a door on the lift/elevator to get in. We walked into the room and it was quite large, with two beds, a TV, a...

We spent three nights here in August. The reception staff were wonderful: friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. They were great in catering for my fellow traveller who is gluten intolerant. The only drawback was that our room faced the street which was very noisy late at night and early in the morning.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
